====Council reconfirmed==== February 1, 1007 by Thorson With the results for todays elections, the council has been granted perimission to stay on their track to make Avalon a great nation. Even in this time of peace I have been given the authority to manage the military side of the realm. As Avalon is a democracy I still answer to my Chancellor Allarion. Luckely we have a verry good council, who tries to support our Ruler in every way possible. ====The eradication of Valentia==== January 26, 1007 by Scarlet Moments ago, news reached my contacts that OG and Thalmarkin have declared war on valentia. What did they do to deserve such a punishment? This isn't a war, this is a eradication. Well OG might be our new ally, but that doesn't mean i have to agree with their actions. This is pure overkill. And what happend with the 4 realms treaty or whats the name of it? Many questions, no answers yet.
====Revenge is a dish best served cold!==== January 20, 1007 by Scarlet Great news, the rebel known as JeanOlivier has left the continent! Yesterday my guards found him and his surviving men licking their wounds in the fields near Wundinken. He resisted arrest, but due to the great skill of my personal guard, he got arrested and brought to the Wudinken Dungeon to rot. I payed him a visit and "negotiated" with him. The ban of Fronen had gone in effected and JeanOlivier was a man without a realm, so if i had tossed him in the great lake none would complain. To bad judge Jelpot arrived in Wudinken and demanded the prisoner, or atleast what remained of him after i talked to him... Jelpot tossed the almost lifeless body onto a ship bound for the Colonies. No glorious death for JeanOlivier, may his ship sink and may crabs feast on his body! ====Wy me?==== January 18, 1007 by Scarlet Tonight 53 archers attacked the walls of wudinken under command of the Mad JeanOlivier. They stayed out of range of our advancing infantry and managed to evade the arrows we send after them. He killed 15 of the city's guards before my infantry got to him and choped them to peeces. We didn't manage to capture the culprite but my black cloaked bodyguard managed to wound him, I hope my patrols capture the lowlife! Then i will torture him and deliver him to the executioners axe! If Fronen want more help killing rebels they should send them my way! I demand satisfaction for the death of my men! ====Oh The Horror==== January 18, 1007 by Scarlet Our neighbour Fronen doesn't seem to be able to stop the constant flow of rebelions, today JeanOlivier called for another uprising against the goverment (who is back to its original self with Cedric and Alexius). According to our sources, he doesn't really have any supporters and is doomed to fail, Stupid move of him, maybe he is suicidal? Also today the first Fronen refugees are arriving in Avalon and we tought we were unpopular in Fronen ;). It has been made clear to them that we won't have anything to do with a possible anti Fronen movement, and if they want to fight Fronen they should have joined the undead... maybe they will, if you get my drift. On a lighter news, gues who's now the most powerfull person in the realm? Allarion? NO! It's me! ME the great and ilustrious Grand Duchess of Wudenkin. All bow before me! ====Fronen Rebellion==== January 15, 1007 by Trader Thorry Rebellion in Fronen, two to be correct...It was a shock when I first heard the news. We don't get much news about Fronen but a rebellion is something you don't wish to see happening to your neighbour. With a counter rebellion the news got even more complicated. I, myself have no real good idea how or why. It is also too early to see who remains standing, I can't even say who is who. I think will have to see for ourselfs in a few days. I place my hope on the continuation of our growing friendship with Fronen. The whole Island is watching how it will unfold, I pray for a civilized ending without bloodshed. ====Chaos!==== January 10, 1007 by Scarlet The entire continent of Beluatara is in chaos. While some try to explain these strange phenomenas as spirits from another plain, i however think its a conspiracy from all the Scribes across the continent. All noblemen know that without our Scribes we are completely helpless! so these bastards tried to take the continent by tricks and betrayal! I have been a member of Avalon, PLegroth and Thalmarkin according to these scribes! while I'm pretty sure I'm NOT! I for one have already brutally slaughtered every scribe that comes near me! Preemptive measures! And i encourage everyone across the continent to do the same! ====A dark day in Avalon==== January 07, 1007 by Scarlet Today, El Mariachi, the Duke of Wudenkin stepped down from his position and left without a word together with his brother, Michael. The Avalonien nobility were shocked when they got the news. Nobody knew why El Mariachi had left or if he would ever return. I raced back to my field office and there I found the letter from El Mariachi - he must have only had time to write one letter before his ship left. The letter told how his family was in trouble and that he was leaving to defend his family's honour. We all hope he will one day return. Due to this event, the position of Duke of Wudenkin is now available. I already saw it as my duty to put my name forward for the election. And you my dearest reader know I'm the best choice ;) ! ====Elections==== January 02, 1007 by Scarlet As expected, there were no surprises on the first day of 1007, Chancellor Allarion has been working his butt off the past weeks and is rewarded with a reconfirmation. Also Jelpot, Thorson and Satrina are reconfirmed. Interesting fact: Little old me is placed second both on the judge list and the general list, perhaps I should consider a career in politics? |
