Augustus Kreed

"Men, we are about to go into a battle that will kill most of you, wound the rest and expose you to the battles of war. You will fight and die with courage and show the world the strength of a few good men fighting for their homeland alongside their comrades. If any of you have problems you may come forth now. We won't think any less of you...we'll just blindfold you and point you in the right direction. I know we have never fought a real battle but today we shall earn our keep."-Augustus Kreed before the first battle of Partora.

Augustus is the oldest son of the Kreed family and the only one as of yet to see battle. Though he has only been in 3 battles and fought in 2, he gained much honor and prestige for his actions in the defense of Partora against her vile enemies, he and his scribe being the last men defending the gates at the end of the second battle for Partora. However, this came at a high price, of the 31 original men in his unit before the battles and the 10 replacements he hired after the first battle only 12 were left after the battle and he was left for dead by fontan soldiers with a hole in his belly and a gash across his face and forced to drag his shattered body and the wounded Learchus away from the fighting before succumbing to his wounds.

The Silent Rhino

Whenever Augustus drinks mead he turns into the heroic and daring Silent Rhino, a swashbuckling champion of justice. When he changes into his alter-ego it can either save Augustus and Learchus or put them both in even more trouble.

Foamy

While in the guise of the Silent Rhino Augustus enegaged a pack of bears in combat. However the effects of the mead wore off while he was fighting the last bear. Luckily Augustus was able to befriend the bear and named him Foamy for the foam that always rings his mouthdue to rabies.
