History

Tolhuar.

The name conjures up imagines of historic battles and great heroes. In the Darkan civil war, the northern rebels' victorious armies were defeated for the first time on the plains of Tolhuar, preventing the entire land from succumbing to the northerners. Tolhuar joined the Darkan Empire peacefully in exchange for limited autonomy. Every man in Tolhuar possesses an axe which he carries to war to fight on the front lines, or a horse to serve as excellent scouts and messengers. The Second Defense of Tolhuar is already legend despite the fact that it only happened within the last year. The very peasants themselves rose up to fend off the endless waves of North Darkan troops, and turned the war very quickly against the north.

The Temple in the region of Tolhuar is a temple of the religion Darkanism,a temple build in the name and honor of the God Darka,the people of Tolhuar are followers of such religion as the rest of the realm.There are all kinds of workshops available in Tolhuar,such as Houses of Healing ,highly specialized in burns of all types and poisonings.Scouts Guild,Banner Manufacture and Cart builders.

Apart the great history of the region though and the shops and guilds you can find here,the natural beauty of the Great Lake of Tolhuar is something that will not pass unnoticed from the visitors as well,a beauty of which Tolhuar is famous in the north.Local myths say that this lake was a gift to Darkans from the Volcanic Gods,a lake that it's borders would tenderly caress the borders of the city of Azzal as well and bring holy life to the shores of the badlands of Ixzal.Many say that every year,the same date Tolhuar became a region of the Darkan Empire,enchanting airs are heard from the lake itself but no one has ever had the courage to support such statement as personal experience.

This region has a temple of Darkanism or has a significant portion of its population following Darkanism.
