Cheltenborne lays in the heart of Ithillia, and after decades of war, has finally begun to rebuild. Homes are built to withstand the ravages of war, being very spartan in nature, and built of mud, stone, or for the wealthier inhabitants, brick. The windows all have bars and shutters, and to discourage Vikings, mead and ale are illegal. After years of having their fields burnt, the locals have discovered their soil was extremely fertile. As a result, the locals have been growing excessive amounts of wheat which is ground into flour. Additionally, sewn in amongst the wheat, is the plant known as Demon Root, which is the extremely addictive and hallucinogenic ingredient found in Pancakes. What this means for the future of Cheltenborne is unknown, but men wearing the crimson of the Cartel have been seen in the seedier taverns and back allies.
