Adika is the younger brother of Rognak. Originally named Brashnak, Adika looked up to his cousin Skriznack, and upon his death traveled to Oritolon in the colonies to start a military career. After realizing that there was no prestige to be gained in fighting a losing war for a realm he cared little about Brashnak chartered a ship to Beluaterra and joined the realm of Melhed. Brashnak quickly showed a penchant for reckless aggressiveness as he charged out to face the daemons of Lastfell his first week in the realm. Later he would distinguish himself by fighting his way out of an ambush laid by a pack of dragon ogres and securing the summit of the largest mountain in the region to use as a base for a friendly TO and aiding the local peasants in destroying the nests made by the dragons overrunning the region. However in reality he had just accidentally stumbled upon the ogres camp and fled to leave his men to fight the monsters. After becoming bored with Melhed, Brashnak traveled to Taselak where he began to show his evil tendencies more and more with several instances of kidnapping and murder happening within a few days of his arrival. After being caught and fined for several unauthorized looting attempts, Brashnak slew all of his accomplices, packed up and fled to Nighthelm on Far East Island. However, Brashnak quickly became bored with the relative peace of the island and moved to Fontan on East Island in order to get his fill of looting and warfare. For a time Fontan satisfied his bloodlust but with that hunger sated he began to crave power and, after losing several elections, he changed his name to Adika and boarded the first available ship to Beluaterra.

Early Career in Fwuvoghor

Adika joined the small Republic of Fwuvoghor and became a knight of the realms capital and namesake city, Fwuvoghor. In his first week there Adika's experience from his many travels was quickly recognized and he was made Second-in-Command of the Fwuvoghor Madmen. Adika quickly developed a reputation in the small realm as a skilled fighter and tactician after demonstrating his talent in several small battles against monsters, the undead, and the Daimon supported armies of Vlaanderen. This experience made him the prime candidate to become Marshal of the Fwuvoghor Madmen following Gurney's retirement from the position.

Adika developed has a strong hatred for the unnatural rogues that he sees as a threat to nobility due to their spread of spread of anarchy across the continent. This hatred of the inhumans beasts and his knack for killing them lead to his quick rise to a senior member member of the guild Humanities Hope, an organization devoted to the destruction of the creatures that infest Beluaterra.

This influence later allowed him to win the election for lord of Vilriil.

War with Avalon

Following the banishment of Arcane and the end of Fwuvoghor's war with Vlaanderen the Republic of Fwuvoghor resumed its enmity with Avalon. Under Adika the Fwuvoghor Madmen rose to their greatest numbers and strength within a few weeks and when war was declared on Avalon Adika lead his army in a courageous charge into Norjke, slaughtering 10 Avalonian troops for every Fwuvoghorian killed that day. Following this victory Adika convince Norjke's lord Bryce to join Fwuvoghor of his own free will, taking advantage of the chaos created in Avalon by the invasion of its capital by daimons.

Soon after several other lords including the Duke of Zod joined Fwuvoghor and the realm saw a great increase in size. Adika's successes were cut short when he was forced to retire his position as marshal and Senator of Vilriil after contracting an illness during Lornak's funeral. Once he was well enough to return to active duty Adika campaigned for the end of the war with Avalon, pointing out that Fwuvoghor needed to pull back and focus on maintaining its gains rather than taking on Avlon's rebuilt military and the armies of Enweil.

After the war's conclusion the Senator of Piwani was forced to resign his post due to personal matters and Adika was elected the new Senator of Piwani.

General of Fwuvoghor

Following Zeteo's retirement from the General position to become duke of Fwuvoghor, Adika was appointed the new general of Fwuvoghor. Adika quickly set about reorganizing the military to respond to threats with greater speed and efficiency and established a method of assigning each army a base in a different duchy.

It was Adika that suggested Fwuvoghor's renewal of hostilities with Vlaanderen and lead another raiding force to loot Vlaanderen's unprotected regions.

Adika shortly became Prime Minister but quickly resigned amid protests over his peace treaty with Avalon. Adika was appointed Duke of Zod by Mordred to ease the bitterness between the two and served as both general and later Banker. When the Republic was facing its last days in the war against Enweil and Avalon, Adika looted the Fwuvoghor treasury and, after paying to rebuild the walls of Zod and hire more militia, left for Far East Island. There he joined Cathay in its war against Soliferum for a few years before being captured and executed for a previous ban by Judge Viracocha.

Relationships

Adika shares this hatred of the inhumans with Mordred La Faye, Premier of Fwuvoghor and the man that elevated him to a senior member of Humanities Hope. Adika has developed a strong loyalty to Mordred that he has probably never had for another person and happily looted the the temple of the Blood Cult following an argument between the church's leader and the Premier. Adika and General Zeteo have developed a mutual respect for one another as competent military leaders, this respect was strengthened during a raid deep into Vlaanderen territory where the two of them were cut off from reinforcements and fought a number of battles alongside each other, followed by a liberal looting spree across the mountainous regions of eastern Vlaanderen. Zeteo was also one of Adika's main supporters in the election that saw Adika become Senator of Vilriil.
