HISTORICAL TIMELINE OF ASH SEA ISLANDS
It is noted that much history has been lost to the ravages of time and memory. Some realms have even been lost and no record exists. This is a day-to-day record of the Ash Sea Islands so that future historians may have a timeline to study the ebb and flow of events that have been of particular significance to this kingdom and its people throughout history.
2005
April
14 - King Talius Sargeras Valorian captured in battle against Tara.
15 - Nautilus Spiliz crowned as King of Ash Sea Islands.
November
26 - An ASI force fighting behind enemy lines from Ash'rily defeated Abington reinforcements passing through Worav. Duke Wallace of Ash'rily led the attack personally.
December
01 - King Nautilus Spiliz abdicates.
02 - Zogxx of Zog crowned as King of Ash Sea Islands.
05 - Small group of ASI defenders cut off for weeks heroically hold off a large Abingtonian army at the walls of Ash'rily. The Abington hero, Feldric Selemnir, is slain in the assault.
17 - King Zogxx of Zog abdicates.
18 - Sir Doc's Revenge Primus crowned as King of Ash Sea Islands.
22 - Talerium raiders pillage in Aja taking advantage of the ASI-Abington war.
23 - Landesred Stromsfiord takes over the Ash Sea Chronicle
2006
January
04 - Thieves from Abington begin several days of looting in Tichi until dispersed by ASI forces.
04 - ASI defenders successfully fight off Abington force in Yacon
10 - Second battle of Ash'rily fought. Abington calls on Carelia and Redspan to reverse its misfortunes. The handful of defenders were finally overrun resulting in the occupation of the city.
11 - Massive looting of Ash'rily starts. Over 60 instances of looting by Abington and Redspan troops.
11 - Adam, Trade Minister for the Cagilan Empire attacked and seriously wounded on visit to ASI by suspected Abington infiltrator.
12 - Vigilantius, a noble of ASI, was executed by Abington for no good reason.
12 - Lerss attacked by Abington, Carelia, and Redspan in the midst of peace negotiations.
13 - Carelia loots Lerss
14 - Cease-fire declared between ASI and Abington
28 - Invasion force from Carelia defeated in Barnlure
February
03 - The Great Party held at home of Wallace in Barnlure, most nobles of ASI attend. Free Mapan Ale provided by Malice
03 - ASI nobles welcome news of Tara declaration of war on Redspan
04 - Valdemar, Knight of Ash Sea Islands commits suicide
04 - Moses plants the 100 year tree in Aja on the suicide of Valdemar
08 - Sir Ambrosius of ASI wins swordfighting tourney in Strombran
08 - ASI defeats Redspan in Rogeshore
09 - Several troop leaders banned for failure to follow orders in a timely manner
09 - ASI welcomes news of Tara declaration of war on Abington.
10 - King Doc's Revenge reports that diplomatic talks with Redspan failing, Abington getting involved. Resumption of war with Abington possible.

27 - Retributive invasion of Carelia. ASI forces destroy fortifications in retribution for similar Carelian acts during the Ash'rily campaign.
30 - ASI victory at Nida over Carelian forces.
May
01 - Tara seizes Atblane.
02 - Narrow defeat in open field battle at Nida in Carelia during retributive invasion of Carelian territory. Colony takeover interrupted.
June
12 - The Great Mule Massacre
July
10 - Tournament in Ser'quea: 274 troop leaders from 14 realms take part.
12 - Good Neighbour Alliance signed. Carelia and the Ash Sea Islands are now allied.
17 - Ash Sea Islands recognizes Island Treaty as void due to lack of adherence by the other party. ASI moves to retake the islands.
18 - Yacon liberated and taken over.
19 - Veshin liberated and taken over.
20 - City of Ash'rily liberated.
22 - Wor'av liberated and taken over.
23 - City of Wor'ight liberated and taken over.
August
03 - Start of 'The Long March' through the heart of Abington to lift the siege of Wayburg
06 - Kybcyell and ASI lift the siege of Wayburg, and disrupt Abington's Hostile Takeover
26 - Wor'av recaptured by Abington.
29 - Wor'av retaken by ASI after three battles.
September
08 - I will survive, a well-known Ashlantean noble, was publicly executed by Abington ending any remote chance of peace between the two realms.
18 - King Doc's Revenge Primus abdicates
19 - Malice Osha, Baron of Mapo, is crowned King of Ash Sea Islands.
28 - Ashlantean army defeated in Worav.
October
24 - Treaty signed between Abington and Ash Sea Islands.
November
01 - Byblack returned to RedSpan.
03 - Sullenport returned to RedSpan.

08 - Magna Serpænsism formally founded in Veshin.
2007
January
24 - The "Long Peace" ends in drastic fashion. Norland moves against Minas Ithil. Eston moves against Falasan. Several realms conduct surprise attack against RedSpan. Ash Sea Islands, while not directly involved, stands by its allies.
February
22 - Duke Torin of Tucha cowardly betrays Falasan in her time of need and cedes his Duchy to create Capashinia.
March
01 - Ashlantean forces wipe out the last of the Capashin rebels in Tucha.
04 - RedSpan invades Rogeshore.
05 - RedSpan declares War.
07 - Tucha is returned to Falasan.
April
02 - Treaty of Rogeshore signed with RedSpan.
03 - Diplomatic relations with RedSpan are raised to Peace.
06 - Falasan regains control of Barad Falas.

30 - Caergoth founded in Wayburg.

8 - Stargard falls to Tara, and with it the realm of RedSpan.
25 - King Malice Osha abdicates.
26 - King Doc's Revenge Primus crowned a second time.

Exact dates unknown, but towards the end of February the Ash Sea Islands and her federate, the Protectorate of Magnus, became embroiled in continental conflict with several realms: Tara, Carelia, Talerium, Darka, Eston, Suville and Caergoth.
March
05 - Aja falls to the armies of Tara after a week-long Brutal Takeover.
09 - Rogeshore is lost to Carelia after a prolonged Takeover. Meanwhile, Falasan wins a decisive victory over the Cagilan Empire to the north.
11 - The Ash Sea Islands wins its first major victory in the south against the armies of Suville, in the region of Wynford.
12 - The Ash Sea Islands continues its winning form with another major victory, this time against Carelia in the north, in Barnlure.
14 - Tichi also falls to Tara after a Brutal Takeover and extensive looting.
15 - The southern armies notch another strong victory in the south over Suvillian forces, this time in Rustton.
16 - The Ashlantean armies are dealt a heavy defeat at the hands of Tara in the region of Tichi.
17 - The Ashlantean armies recover from the defeat to win back control of the field against the combined forces of Tara, Darka and Eston. On this day, the region of Tichi is reclaimed by the Ash Sea Islands.
21 - The armies of Carelia are defeated in Barnlure, by Ashlantean defenders in a decisive fashion.
23 - Ashlantean stragglers are routed by a massive army comprised of Carelians, Darkans, Estonites and Taleriumites in Barnlure.
26 - Ashlantean armies suffer further defeat at the hands of defending Tarans, Darkans and Taleriumites in Tichi.
27 - The region of Tichi is again lost to Taran invaders.
28 - In a major counter-attack, the Ashlantean armies are victorious over the combined defending forces of Carelia, Tara and Talerium in Barnlure.
April
1 - Riverholm falls to Caergoth. The Protectorate of Magnus is no more.
25 - Sir Kronos Titans, former King of Carelia and resident of the Ash Sea Islands, falls in a duel to the death.
28 - Tara announces Aja as her new capital, abandoning the forest enclave of Foda.
May
2 - King Doc's Revenge Primus abdicates.
2 - King Beircheart Aoidh ascends the throne.
17 - Ashlantean troops reclaim Jauchu.
22 - Ashlantean armies defeated in Worav by Sugothian forces.
26 - After changing status several times, Worav is taken by Caergoth.
27 - Wor'ight is attacked and occupied by Caergothian, Carelian and Suvillian troops.
29 - The Hero, Sir Gilth Landre of Lerss, is killed during minor skirmishing in Wor'ight.
