RedSpan declares War!

Over a day after first playing host to hostile RedSpan troops in Rogeshore, RedSpan finally declared war on the Ash Sea Islands - and several hours later, King Tony deigned to announce his reasons. Concerned at the fact that so few RedSpaniard peasants believe in the falsehoods of 'Da Way' so adored by the RedSpaniard nobility, war has been declared in order to fight against Magna Serpænsism. Specifically, examples of RedSpan priests being attacked by RedSpaniard followers of Magna Serpænsism have been brought up - despite the fact that Magna Serpænsism maintains no official presence in RedSpan and preaching there is outlawed.

Claims of a mission for purification and pacification have been made by King Tony in recent days in regards to RedSpan's plans for Rogeshore which leads us to assume that there will soon be widespread persecution of all faithful followers of Magnus in the Kingdom of RedSpan. It is unknown at this time whether King Malice will move simply to defend Rogeshore from the greedy hoofs of RedSpan or whether he will go further and try to liberate some of the considerable Serpænt populations in RedSpan in light of her unprecedented acts of aggression towards both the Ash Sea Islands and her beloved patron.

RedSpan invades Rogeshore!

This evening, the monarch of RedSpan announced that relations between our two kingdoms were to be lowered. Less than an hour after this ominous act, small defensive forces in Rogeshore were forced into a fleeting defence against a RedSpaniard army before having to beat a hasty retreat in the face of far greater forces. A slew of Ashlantean nobles have since expressed their outrage at what has effectively been perceived as a sneak attack against the Ash Sea Islands. However no official word has as yet been forthcoming on these events.

King Malice injured in Tucha!

King Malice was reported grievously wounded in Tucha today after personally leading an investigation through Torin Capashins former Ducal mansion. Reports currently conflict as to what has happened, with rumours of assassination spreading like wildfire throughout the kingdom. However we have learned from the Lord Steward of the Royal Household that King Malice has in fact been injured whilst confronting 'sworn enemies of Magnus' in previously undiscovered subterranean caverns beneath Tucha. As King Malice is the reigning Bellanguiant and foremost earthly representative of Magnus, it's no surprise that a deadly battle ensued. No word as yet has come on how badly the King has been wounded in his battles but we are assured the restoration of Tucha shall continue unabated in readiness for it's return to Falasanonian hands.
