Arcaea/Dining Hall Late 08-09/Madelena's Murmerings

It was becoming increasingly difficult for Madelena to spend a great deal of time on her feet as her ankles would swell up so easily. She had taken to sitting on her bed with a portable writing table on her lap and working that way. Mind you, this was not as easy as one might think for her belly was beginning to grow also and it was starting to be hard to see over the top of it.

Tenal made regular visits to her tent. She kept hoping that he would bring up the wedding. It was all very wonderful of him to do the honorable thing and propose but she would rather get the wedding out of the way so she did not have to continue to hide her bulge anymore.

Aerywyn started to visit only with Cypreana. This seemed a suitable arrangement that kept everyone happy. The sight of her sister always made Madelena happy. Her sister seemed to be glowing with love and contentment.

But the way was making Madelena tired. She was tired of being camped on the front. She refused to go back to Remton as her pride would not allow it. She was determined to fight on as any man would do. However the sentimental side of her wished that peace could be found to the conflict and that she could go back to the happy times of before.
