The origins of this particular book are shrouded within the mysteries only time can create. Written in the dark ages, before the true colonisation of Beluaterra by the Nobility, the Ancient Book of Necromancy holds all the secrets of the ancient diviners of old. Who sought to summon the dead from their resting places, and so to converse, learn and ultimately profit from both their knowledge and their power.
But, over time their efforts to raise spirits farther and farther back from the brink between life and death became an obsession, and one by one each were consumed by their own art. Now they walk in the twilight, a shade of their former selves....the Undead. Pushed from life by their own greed for wisdom and power, they are now unable to die, forced to wreak their terrible curse upon the unsuspecting populace. But long did they cling to their ancient arts, their last hope, found within this book of dark magic until many thousands of years later a young adventurous man by the name of Sonny Dell.
Long did he hunt, and many a wound did he receive as he battled the unholy horde of undead which had risen from the ground. Little did he know who his adversaries were...then, upon the 4th day of the battle he came across the champion of the Undead. He had seen him twice before, but was unable to chase him down. A huge beast, 7 feet tall with a will made out of sheer hate and malice. The most powerful of the necromancers, and the first to fall into the blackness of the eternal limbo that was to be his fate.
As the two adversaries fought blow for blow, Sonny charged forward his blade held high aloft, and crying the name of the Dell house aloud so that all the people who saw would know who would take the glory for the victory he smote his enemy down and took the Book of Necromancy from his putrid body.
So the tale of Sonny continues, so too the long and black history of this ancient book....

After 3 hours, you finally find an organized undead army. They are lead by an undead champion, an evil creature with more power and intelligence than the usual lot. The battle rages, you against the undead. Your blows land true, shattering them to dust left and right. The champion makes you sweat, he is quite the opponent. But in the end, he is just a pile of bones, too. Among what is left of the champion, you find treasures worth a total of 1 gold, 3 silver.
You also find a unique item among the loot, the "Ancient Book of Necromancy".
