Castes

To Waren, the world is firmly divided in very stable castes of breed, with rare mobility exceptions. The Royalty stand on its top, and their rule is divine. Their inherent superiority over the rest makes itself evident in their superior intellect, grace and fitness. Above them exists the High Clergy, in tune with the divine, and the High Nobility. In a lower position are located the Lower Nobility and Lower Clergy, and on the bottom the Minor Nobility. There classes constitute the Gentry, subject to rights and duties. Those of below station only possess duties, unless indirectly in relation to a well-born one (example: hurting a commoner might be a crime, not because of any right he might have, but because of the right a noble may claim on him).

Breeding

Each caste should mix only with itself, though it is a great honor for a lower caste to breed with a higher one. The reciprocal is not true, and is a sign of great shame, and having failed on the duties of maintaining the quality of the bloodline. Breeding with a caste more than a steps bellow is considered a sacrilege, as it is to pollute the noble blood with commoner's.

Rule

The rule is legitimized only when granted by the divine. For such Republics and Democracies are consider a mockery and sources of instability and corruption. If blood-mixing is given free reign the nobility will average to its lowest. It is known that the sheep heard is as fast as its slowest member, and such are the electoral ways.

Noble Ways

A purer noble has less mundane pollution in his blood, and is closer attached to the divine. He contains in himself a much larger degree of potentiality than a lower men. It is through good breeding, education and practice in the arts of life and war that the blood is refined and passed on to the next generation. Following the unorthodox and lowly ways of the rabble tarnishes the blood passed on.

Blood for the Blood

Only the purest blood can claim blood, and no-one of a lower caste may claim any right of blood to those of an upper caste.
