The Aeterdust family is a noble family from Strahan in the Cagilan Empire, Atamara.
Some of the most noted family members are: Vladimir, Wensicia and their children Sheeana and Feyd, Paulus, Helena and their daughter Irulan, the former handmaiden Chani, the young Alma.
The Aeterdust family is a secretive one and most of its history is kept covert, only known between the relatives and most trusted friends. Nobody outside the family knows the name of its founder and nobody is likely to find it out in the future.
What is known is that some years before the birth of their children, Vladimir Aeterdust and his wife Wensicia settled in Strahan, a rural region of the Cagilan Empire on the continent of Atamara. They were obviously noble-born and had considerable wealth, but were completely unknown to anybody. All gossipers agreed their name fit them very nicely, since they seemed to have appeared out of nowhere in the realm.
Slowly, they got be known as a clever, hardworking, yet brave and dignified sort of people. The family kept to themselves most of the time and had some customs deemed quite odd, starting with the names they all wear up to the peculiar coat of arms.
Then came the birth of the twins in the family, Sheeana and Feyd. Where Sheeana was considered kind and shy, Feyd was accounted wicked and uncanny. Nobody was sad to hear of the diappearence of the 13 year old Feyd Aeterdust, but his parents and sister.
Two years after Vladimir and Wensicia settled in Strahan, their close relatives Paulus and Helena, aquired and moved into a new estate in Sirion. Helena kept close correspondence with her brother, Vladimir, all throughout her life. Yet her daughter, Irulan, hardly kept any contact with that part of the family, having never met any of her relatives living in Atamara.
Other Aeterdust family members thrive in this world aswell, but their number is a mystery to all but them. They must all live by the family motto: “Live what needs be lived, tell what needs be told, the rest is dust…”
The Aeterdust family is not one of the most famous in the world, its members have yet to prove themselves.
