The March of Dishonour
In the ongoing War of Annihilation being waged against Abington, it is perhaps not known, throughout the world, just the extents to which the "honourable" enemy armies and nobles are conducting themselves on Abington soil. I do not speak of foul words by self-proclaimed ASI cannibal Xanio, nor of the (many) repeated enemy infiltrator activities. I speak of the business of looting.

In this article, Abington First will memorialize those fair lands which have been tainted by the bloody mark of an unjust war of aggression, as well as to give an initial analysis of the facts.

  • Chasnoff: Looted 17 times. Twice by Ash Sea Islands, six times by Barony of Makar, once by Falasan, twice by Talerium, four times by Minas Ithil.
  • Wynford: Looted 4 times, by ASI.
  • Swanfolk: Looted 33 times. 15 times by Talerium, twice by Barony of Makar, 9 by Falasan, 3 by Minas Ithil, 4 by Darka (including killing, raping and burning).
  • Monagle: Looted 2 times. Once by Barony of Makar, once by Falasan.
  • Webgard: Looted 10 times, by Darka.
  • Suville: Looted 12 times, by Darka.
  • Werdham: Looted 8 times. 7 by Darka (including killing, raping and burning), once by Barony of Makar.
  • Sudfern: Looted 17 times, by Talerium.
  • Stoneville: Looted 36 times. 33 by Talerium, 3 by Barony of Makar.
  • Dorton: Looted 2 times, by Barony of Makar.
  • Glassinn: Looted 5 times, by Barony of Makar.
  • Wayburg: Looted 6 times. 3 by Barony of Makar, twice by Falasan, once by Talerium.

By the above records, we have seen 152 incidents of looting Abington in less than two months. (The actual total since the war began is, of course, much higher.)

We have seen what can be expected of opportunistic Makar vikings - not much (if any) presence in major battles, but there 23 times to pillage and maraud.

We have seen that ASI has only looted us six times. Does this make them honourable - or does it merely mean they get to have clear consciences while the war they began and condone ravages whole countrysides?

We have seen the mercenary sell-sword army of Darka committing the most heinous acts of vile criminality.

We have seen Falasan, newest to this war. They are catching up, having surpassed Minas Ithil in number of incidents. (However, again it should be noted, Minas Ithil was guilty of far more than 8 incidents before we began to keep records.)

But none can equal Talerium's record of 68 incidents, whose looting cannot be attributed to anything other than a systematic, government-sponsored campaign of annihilation against Abington's people, its lands and its nobility.

All the while, Abington's enemies claim her to be a too-powerful, too-large and dishonourable menace.

One wonders just how an unarmed peasant wife is such a menace, that Abington's enemies have paid Darka to rape and murder her.
