Westgard/Occidentalism

Westgardian Occidentalism is a mindset that is shared by many living in the realm. Somewhat a mix between an ideology and prejudice, it is marked by general disdain for politicking, a condescending view of the eastern realms, and putting loyalty and service to the realm above all. It is also marked by a feeling of entitlement, especially relating to Dwilight's Occidens, which some express as the belief that "only the realms who have bled fighting the hordes of the West (Westgard, Avernus, Astrum, D'Hara, Madina) are entitled to aspire to the spoils of the West". "Easterner" is practically a slur, for many Westgardians.
