OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION for the WAY OF THE WARRIOR SAINTS

The Way of the Warrior Saints is intended to be as inclusive a religion as possible, allowing any character who wants their own idiosyncratic faith to be part of a larger, more structured religion.

For instance, if your character worships Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, you can simply create a "Saint" named "Torr, Patron Saint of Thunder and Strength" (we recommend that you tweak the name a little, to avoid obvious anachronisms). Saint Wodin and Saint Issik are good examples of this (from the Norse pantheon and the Grey Mouser series, respectively).

Or, if you're feeling creative, feel free to invent a totally new Saint and come up with an original faith. Saint Jaynke and Saint Bael are examples of player-made Saints, as are many others.

You can even create a Saint for no other purpose than to be funny. Saint Bear is an excellent example of this (as St. Bear is actually based on "Yogi Bear," the American cartoon).

In other words, if you want to have a more active hand in your character's religion, try giving the Way of the Warrior Saints a try.
