Vesci Family/The Guild

Isis approached the run down building, it looked very similar to her residence in Outer Tilog, only this time the entirety of the upstairs was scorched and the downstairs doors and windows were boarded up.

She removed the rotten boards that barred the door but couldn't see a lock to the building, Isis turned to her maid in search of assistance, but the young woman shrugged in reply.

The noble composed herself and then with one swift strike kicked at the door. She felt it give way beneath her foot, but defiantly not in the way she had intended. The maid giggled at the sight but quickly helped free the ladies foot from the rotten door.

Isis brushed herself down and looked to the remnants of the upstairs. “Oh look, an open window!” said the noble jokingly as she turned her attention to the maid. The servant paused in though as she glanced between the upstairs and Isis.

“No way, I can’t go up there?” replied the woman. Isis gave her a firm look and the woman quickly changed her decision.

Isis watched as the maid clambered through the upstairs window and listened as the woman fumbled around the room. This was followed by the sound of wood giving way and a high pitched scream. “Oh!” Isis sighed, as she turned away from the building “Guess I better find a new one.”

Suddenly the door flung open, “What!” shouted the woman from the doorway.
