History
The Sable Shields were founded in the days after the Battle of Brive at the request of the newly knighted Rogos V'Orlan. Many of the original members were veterans of that very same conflict, a full score of them having been members of the Opal Griffons before the mercenary company dissolved after the Battle of Brive.
