What a strange person..... --Dalakar

OK, let me spell it out for you: Every time you submit an edit, it makes an entry on the Recent Changes page. The Editors use the Recent Changes page for a lot of things, and it makes it very difficult to find edits when you're filling up the page with dozens of edits of the same page.

Use the Preview button instead of saving the page so that you can see what your changes look like. And if you're going to be making a bunch of changes to one page, do them all at once, instead of editing page A, then page B, then page A again. It's simply polite to do when using the Wiki. --Anaris 10 December 2005 03:56 (CET)

Yes I know how the preview button works and use it often. But some of what I am doing can only be decided as I put it up there which means having to re-edit pages quite often. This is why I always select the 'minor edit' box so people can completely ignore my changes on the 'recent changes list'. I'm doing the best I can with the tools available, now if people would only use the tools available to them there wouldn't be a problem. --Dalakar

Is the preview not a tool available to you? You can preview you edit, read through it, check any mistakes, all while you come up with your ideas. Its good stuff. Im not too bothered since Im not an editor, but I use the wiki often too, and I ALWAYS look at the Recent Changes page... -- Ghostly
