Davis Mason, the player, is a 28 year old correctional corporal for the state of Oregon. He attended New York University with a major in Law Enforcement and briefly flirted with the idea of trying to write novels for a living. That ended when he realized that his novels were so marginalized in it's target audience (i.e.: Only he was interested in them) that he focused on a public safety career instead.

He's been playing role-playing games since the age of 13, and online role playing games since the age of 16. He was Ra Amon, head of the Amon Family, and founder/General of the Brotherhood of Light in Rhy-Din on AOL from 1994 to 1996. After that, he was Sheriff Davis Mason of Isle Voletta in Black Bayou, also on AOL.

Several aborted attempts were made to re-enter the role-playing realm, but he just couldn't gather the interest and enthusiasm that he had had in abundance in his youth.

A recent resurgance in his interest in writing and a desire to find something more interesting to pass the time than drunken fraternity parties and all day shooting competitions in long gun transition sidearm in low-light/no-light conditions (not that those two past-times occured simutaneously, mind you) led him to Battle Master, which has an intriuging mix of interesting game mechanics (reminiscient, to him, of the game "Romance of the Three Kingdoms") and solid role-playing.

He hopes to become a welcome and apprecited part of the Battle Master community.
