Description and History
A large scroll made of human skin and written upon with the blood of virgins. It is tied together by red hair believed to have belonged to the High Priestess Ucdauh of the Eternal Purity. Despite its obvious age, the scroll when touched will appear to the bearer's eyes as it was on its creation. This characteristic has caused lesser men to lose their minds seeing the scarlet letters and feeling the slick slime of newly shorn flesh. Rumors persist that the virgins whose lives were used to make this awesome scroll were in fact unwilling victims of torture have caused some to the Scroll "UnBlessed" instead. Still, the lure of Power is strong and there is no end of those who seek it.
Discovery
This entry was taken from the journal of Jacinto, an Adventurer. It is the first known account of the Ucdauh's Scroll of the Blessed in Plergoth, Beluaterra.
On the 18th of December 2006 in the region of Worvobaen, I, Jacinto dela Cruz, defeated a large gang of undead lead by a champion. I found Ucdauh's Scroll of the Blessed among the possessions of the vanquished.
I cannot believe my good fortune in what I originally thought was another standard day. I received information from a fellow Adventurer, Baldhart Hynes, of a group of zombies he had been tracking and took up the chase. I caught up with them and 2 hours of combat later won my prize.
As far as my untrained eyes can see, Ucdauh's Scroll of the Blessed increases my Prestige by +2. Any other benefits remains unknown for now.
