The Trinity of the Far East

The Far East's variant of The Trinity was founded by Brother Cid and Brother NLaw in the region of Cuthnipaniel in the Republic of Soliferum. This variant of The Trinity, while similar in almost all ways and beliefs to The Trinity that originated in Alowca, differs in one major way: It does not adhere to 'Denarial's Way'. Cid, head priest of The Trinity, decided that by following so closely to the path of Denarial one was abandoning Khagister and Alluran and could possibly come close to the line of heresy. Only in embracing the whole Trinity can a believer remain protected and true to his faith.

History of The Trinity of the Far East

---Records of Alowca's Trinity can be found here: Trinity

The Trinity itself originated in Alowca, in the Colonies, ages ago. The Trinity was the basis of everyday life for the early Alowcans and eventually served as the foundation for the Theocracy of Alowca. The Trinity of the Far East finds its roots there in Alowca, but was forged in a new land all together. Years ago when Alowca was threatened to be overrun by barbaric outsiders, a group of people volunteered to leave their beloved homeland for the Far East where they could found a realm to keep the Trinity alive and provide a home for those running from the darkness. They landed in a variety of lands, Soliferum and Taith Aenil being the most populated, and immediately set to work. As time passed however, their numbers dwindled and many returned to Alowca upon discovering that it had survived. Still believing to be tasked with the duty of founding a New Alowca devoted followers Cid and NLaw remained behind with a few others. However, it soon seemed that NLaw and Cid had been abandoned by Alowca and her people. Cid then began to find a new way to spread the Trinity, his view of the Trinity, to the Far East. It was then that he founded a temple in Cutnipaniel for The Trinity. ---

Gods

The ancient texts of The Trinity, of which some were taken to the Far East by Cid in the Exodus, say this:

Khagistar - The name, in ancient Alowcan, means "the creator". Khagistar created this world out of the remnants of a previous one, of which little is known. It is supposed that the previous world was destroyed because the people there somehow failed the will of the gods.

Alluran - In ancient Alowcan, this god's name means "the beginning". Alluran is the god who sits in judgment of those who pass away. This reference to a beginning, as opposed to an end, is of utmost importance to the Alowcans. A favorable judgment from Alluran results in the spirit being allowed to pass on to the next world (spiritually speaking), whereas an unfavorable one condemns the person to return to this world in the form of the Undead.

Denariel - Denariel means "the way" in the ancient Alowcan language. Denariel is a heroic figure in Alowcan society. It is believed that Denariel was the first person in the world to earn Alluran's favour and pass on to the next world after her death. As a reward, Denariel was welcomed into the ranks of the Gods so that she could watch over all those after her who moved on to the next world. ---

Beliefs

The Trinity of the Far East does not follow the philosophies of 'Denarial's Way' like the followers in Alowca. Instead, the Order seeks to do the work of all three branches of the Trinity. -Khagister calls to The Order to create homes for the Trinity and places of worship amongst the people. -Alluran calls for The Order to create the worldly laws, based on The Trinity's own laws, for the people to follow. The Priests of the Order can act as a judge in disputes that followers bring to the priest. -Denarial calls for The Order to live their lives in complete devotion to The Trinity. Birth Practices A child that is brought to the Order will be blessed by a priest. The priest then tasks the parents to teach the child the ways of Trinity and have the child return when they come of age. Then, if deemed ready, they are blessed a second time.

Burial Practices Followers of The Trinity upon death are to be blessed by a member of The Order (although in circumstances when a priest may not be present the family can ask a priest to give the blessing to the deceased). Then their body is to be burned as to prevent it from being corrupted by evil and risen into the ranks of the undead or monsters.
