Brothers and sisters of the faith,

It has been a long time since most of you have heard me speak of the gods, speak of the truth and of our lives. I have been busy to bring our faith to the Dark Isles, regions formally tormented by the Adghardism. Because of my holy task on the island I have had little time to write much to you all, also because I was busy with the creation of the newly found colony of Coralynth.

Now that this is over, I wish to write you all. For it has been too long that the gods have been praised in public houses here. And they should be praised. We are the faithful of the true gods, we are brothers and sisters guided by those almighty and we have received their blessing. The lands we rule have never been these numerous on this continent and the temples we have build have not been this great on this island. We have managed to spread the true faith to many and we will not rest to bring forth the truth.

Our wars have been successful and our armies blessed, our sons and daughters are safe. However the gods will not intervene on ever corner we stand, they will not magically solve any problem we face. Not even of the truest faithful. And we will face problems, we will face might we sometimes cannot withstand, however we will certainly face one of the most difficult things for any of mankind.

We will face money, might, power, envy and sometimes hatred. No battle we fight on the field will prepare us for these dangers, no test, no war is as difficult as this. Some of us come from the holy lands of Ibladesh. Once our empire was larger than any other, our riches were greater than that of any man or realm, our armies were mighty. Yet it was in those times of 'greatness' that corruption, greed and other evil slipped into the heart and soul of some of our countrymen, into our government and even into the church itself. Some had forgotten the truth, they had walked off the path of faith and occupied their minds with greed and lust of power. We had failed the ultimate test of the gods, we had failed to honour them as we should. In times of hardship one is quick to ask the guidance of the gods, but in times of greatness one must be humble at all times. One must pray to the gods for they have granted us these riches, they have guided us to where we are now. We must not care more for earthly riches than we do for the gods themselves.

Keep this in mind my brothers and sisters, and never forget this lesson.
