March 18, 2007 - Henning has passed away

Terrible news has struck Khthon today, as Henning Mandul has passed away in the battle of Xinjin. Early this morning, Henning joined the combined forces of Khthon and Vlaanderen against Plergoth, which saw a victory for Khthon and Vlaanderen, but at an unthinkable cost.

Henning was one of the very first Heroes of Khthon. He was the lead editor for this very newspaper. He held the Judge position for a very long time, and he was appointed the Lord of Gaxano after El Cid became Duke of Dyomoque.

The Heroes of Khthon will never forget Henning's tenacity, his bravery, or his dedication to his nation. Khthon will never be the same.

March 5, 2007 - Weghie is Lost!!!

Today tragedy has struck the Khthonian war effort. In our army's attempt to take the region of Zuhle we lost our own region of Weghie to Plergoth. But we do not fear for long. We will soon take Zuhle and retake Weghie. Our efforts for ensure the security of Khthon's position on the continent will not be impeded by one simple regional change in ownership. All I have to say to our Khthonian brethren in the occupied territory is this, resist, resist today, tomorrow and everyday till our army arrives to liberate once more from Plergoth's hands.

March 6, 2007 - Zuhle has Fallen

Just a day after Khthon lost control of Weghie it has managed to succeed in taking the region of Zuhle from them. Now the troops of Khthon get to take a long awaited break back home to return as the heroes they are. Unfortunately the break will be very short as they will have to move out soon to retake Weghie.

March 9, 2007 - Second Battle of Tindle and the Retaking of Weghie

Today happy news abounds in Khthon. daviald made an attempt to TO Tindle which resulted in a quit response from allied forces. A coalition force of Khthon and Vlaanderen made a quick counter attack into Tindle. The result was a huge clash of metal and flesh. Their forces commanded by Sir Artevan, Plergoth's judge and marshall put up a resounding fight. The coalition forces under my personal command, however, won the day and pushed the Plergoth's forces out of Tindle. That was not the only good news. When leaving Weghie Khthon left a small TO force behind which managed to successfully retake Weghie back into our realm. Now not only is the Worvobaen-Weghie-Tindle line once again secured, we have also managed to take Plergoth's region of Zuhle. The war of Central Beluaterra is slowly but surely coming ever closer into our favour.

March 16, 2007 - A Few Setbacks

It would seem that the Khthonian war effort has had a few setbacks recently. We have been defeated in a few small scale battles. In our last battle in Tindle Geoff was captured by enemy forces. New elections will be held with yours truly as a candidate. Maybe new leadership will be able to bring peace to this whole mess. Only tomorrow will tell.
