| Good evening. My name is Danton Memet III, Royal Herald from the Great Majestic Kingdom of Sautica, but you may call me by my stationary name, plainly, The Herald. I have been selected by a Royal Commission authorized by the Most Excellent Prince Fiser Lorett, may the Most High grant him longevity, to visit your world and perform our land’s best tales, stories, and parables with the purpose of sharing our culture’s finest adventures, romances, comedies, tragedies, histories and characters for your enjoyment and education. This I shall do from time to time. The time will be of my choosing, for a duration set by me, and with the quantity and quality of goods that I am able to carry on my person or in my memory. No other shall travel from my world, and none shall return with me without exception. I will tell you things that will thrill you, shock you, prove things to you that you may have never thought possible, show you things that you may have never thought real, and most of all, fulfill my mandate to enlighten you with Sautican wisdom and higher learning. My people are a superior breed, with the furthest cultivated intelligence yet found, and we take care to strengthen our neighbours with dignity and civility, for their benefit and safety.
