On the 24th of September 1009, This ring was retrieved from the lair of a huge monster by that bravest of adventurers Aurick Mowbray, who fought the beast for days on end with no rest before slaying the foul being.
It is rumoured to have been worn by Grand Duke Tempus, the great ruler of an old, old realm scarcely remembered except as footnotes in the dustiest of books on history.
