| The crash of the waves, the rolling of the tides, always has the sea been there, and never has it been tamed. The unknown deep holds many secrets, most too terrible to contemplate. Yet some are drawn to this alien world, some listen to the siren song of the sea, and are changed by it. Harsh where the Pale Wanderer is kind, the Deep One delights in the suffering and pain of death, urging her followers to new depths of cruelty. Practicing blood sacrifice and flouting the laws and conventions of the north the Dark Keeper and her devout stand as a warning, acknowledged but scorned. | ||||
