Parve Waroe had spent many months in the Libero Empire in north-east Dwilight, and was well familiar with the mountainous areas that gave home to so many groups of monsters. He set up an ambush in one of his favourite areas, a pass between two steep hillsides, and waited for the monsters. After a few hours, some arrived, and he took them by surprise, killing them easily. It was only another few hours' wait until a larger alpha monster arrived, but though he and his fellow beasts tried to fight back, Parve's surprise attack ended in the death of them all.
