Last sunset Redspan attempted to retake control of the city of Stargard, which has been under siege by CE for the past week.  Backed by Abbington, the attackers drove hard into the defenders but, without being able to reach the cover of the city walls, were repelled once again.  Abbington has been quite busy trying to aid their longtime goat loving friends.  Notably an Abby TO was initiated in Carelia, most likely to try and draw defenders away from Stargard to facilitate their latest attack. The second and deciding battle is expected to take place this morning with both attacking and defending troops pouring in from all directions.  Tara will take her place alongside her allies, bravely fighting on the land which we one day may hope to call our own.

Tonight Tara finally took control over the region of Meldeen from Redspan. Yesterday, it looked like the end of the region's resistance was along way off. But this morning Lister ordered troop leaders to begin looting the region. With the destruction of the Da Way temples and some of the local peasantry's homes the people of Meldeen quickly changed their mind and have now joined the great realm of Tara.

It my sad duty to relate to you all of an unfortunate experience I had recently. While rushing into battle at Jagla against Undead, I was overwhelmed by thier superior numbers and captured. After six days of undescribable hell, I finally escaped back to civilization. I apologize to the good people of Jagla for not having enough soldiers to crush the menace. I will try my best next time.

Stargard Liberation Fails!!!
July 2nd, 2007

The annexation of Stargard failed today as the citizens of the city overthrew their Taran saviors. This marks the second time such ingratitude has taken place. Despite the compassion and understanding shown by many of our noble troops, it would appear the goat preference in the general population is more prevalent than previously believed.

Calls for harsher methods of treatment are being heard throughout the realm as realization of the insidious nature of Da Goat spread. This reporter, himself, has witnessed personally the nightmare of being under the influence of Undead and Monsters. We must free Redspan's people from a fate unimaginable!!!

Tara Times Reporter Captured!!!
June 25th, 2007

It my sad duty to relate to you all of an unfortunate experience I had recently. While rushing into battle at Jagla against Undead, I was overwhelmed by thier superior numbers and captured. After six days of undescribable hell, I finally escaped back to civilization. I apologize to the good people of Jagla for not having enough soldiers to crush the menace. I will try my best next time.
