Woke up one day and found this pinned on my door:

A rare battle between near-equal forces ended in defeat today as a Falasan/Minas Ithil Army invaded the recently freed region of Picnu. 16470 CS of Rabbits/MI went against 15315 CS of Tara/Darka troops in a brutal battle. Jonathon, Count of Chagasu has stepped down from his position as ruler of your realm. He has given this reason:

<i>Written by Jose Dela Cruz</i>
I am not able to carry out the duties of both Dictator and region lord. I must step down so I can focus on Dictatorship.</i>

Rumors are rife regarding the reason for this shocker. An attack of conscience or fear of rebellion? Personally, I think our ex-Dictator forgot to read the stuff he signs his name on.

Regardless, we just had an election and guess what happens?

Rest assured, this is only a minor delay in our plans of spreading Freedom to the Oppressed.
Like the old Prince of Denmark, Tara too faces the crossroads of destiny. Any path we choose will either lead our Realm to glory and honor forevermore... or spell the doom of her. Ofcourse... by "we", I mean our beloved Jonathan, Dictator of Tara, upon whose shoulders alone bear the weight of our very existence. His Word is Law and upon that Law we shall follow till we fall...

As it should be!!!

No mere mortal could handle this stress. As the entire continent awaits our move, everything hangs in the balance. Tara, Redspan, Cagilan Empire, Ash Sea Islands, Talerium, Carelia, Eston, Darka, Falasan and Abington... all these Realms wait on us!!!! The ties that bind our Allies to us also binds us to them. Who shall we betray? Oh, the price we pay for friendship!!! What is the way of honor when our friends aren't friends with each other? Do we sacrifice one love to keep another? Shall there be a Solomon to say that we passed the test and thus keep both our loves and honor?

The very existance of several Realms are on the table!!! Tension grips the Taran Council as even we wait on our Dictator's Word. With the Mighty ASI Army next door and the Southern Alliance too weak to stop them... With Falasan collapsing infront of Eston and Darka... Time has run out. TIME HAS RUN OUT!!! The Taran Army is massed in Jagla and now destiny awaits. Only we can tip the balance. Who do we side? Who are we? What do we want?

I am gibbering. Even with the decision on someone else's head, I gibber!!! I fear!!! Who among you is noble enough not to be afraid?

<i>"Thus conscience does make cowards of us all"</i>

Regardless... coward or not. Dishonorable or Not. I, Jose dela Cruz, Count of Aigaling, will face today like a man and a Taran!!! Let tomorrow be forgotten. Let today be all. Tomorrow is Karma.

Tomorrow is karma...

We have just gotten word that a major assault has overrun Ash'rily, capital of the Ash Sea Islands. An estimated 30,000 CS Army of Caergoth/Carelia defeated ASI's 15,000 CS defenders in a titanic battle. Damage to both armies and the fortifications have been massive.

Eston appears to be kicking the fecal matter out of the rabbit in the North. One more Region has fallen and more will surely follow. This puts added pressure on ASI to conclude the Redspan business while they still have an Ally too save.
+
ASI has takenover Barnlure in a pointless gesture of defiance. This action has only delayed the eventual assimilation of the Capital into Carelia. Still, we salute ASI in its will to fight destiny.

LET IT BE KNOWN TO ALL MEN THAT THE REALM OF TARA HAS ADOPTED <b>THE ORDER</b> AS ITS STATE RELIGION.
+
There has been a large resurgence of undead and monster activity in Carelia, the Cagilan Empire, Darka and Tara. These evil creatures are of such size and strength that normal militia units are incapable of stopping them. Thus, it is with reluctance that each realm must dispatch a task force for disposal.

BY ORDER OF DICTATOR JONATHAN, ALL PRIESTS NOT INDUCTED IN <b>THE ORDER</b> HAVE ONE (1) WEEK TO CEASE AND DESIST ALL EVANGELICAL ACTIVITIES. ALL UNAUTHORIZED TEMPLES ARE HEREBY DECLARED FORFIET AND CONFISCATED IN THE NAME OF THE STATE. ALL TRAVEL THRU TARA IS ALLOWED ONLY FOR ALLIED PREACHERS. ONLY MEMBERS OF <b>THE ORDER</b> CLERGY ARE ALLOWED TO WORK WITHIN THE REALM.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL LEAD TO ARREST AND IMPRISONMENT.

+
We do not know how Falasan has done this but rest assured, the Freedom of Rabbits is still our highest priority!
REMEMBER!!!

<i>To become one of mind and body, one must understand the balance of life and of good and evil. This too is our goal, to bring the understanding of balance to this world and it's people.</i>

The Tara Times congratulates Xeon on his promotion as a Landed Noble. All of Tara is celebrating today at this latest sign of prosperity and good fortune. Free candies and women are being distributed at the main gate. Enjoy.

As anyone can see in the map, we are doing very well. There is almost no resistance now when our army liberates Rabbit regions. Peasants welcome Tara with open arms. Both Barad Falas and Tucha are surrounded, there people starving while their Lords flee. As I write this, I look out my window and witness the massive army gathering for the siege of Barad Falas. Once that persecuted city is free, Falasan will be broken.

The newly appointed Count of Andurus Kkan, who entered into the position after the sudden and what some say mysterious disappearance of Aeryck, has constructed a small temple of The Order as one of his first acts in power.  The Order originates from within the lands of The Cagilan Empire, one of Tara's closest and most trusted allies, and its first temple was built in Tarasac.  Founded by Zadar Nargath at the beginning of the Butter Rebelion, The Order stems from The Order Of Ered Luin and contains much of the same values and traditions.
+
One of the early questions in this war has always been the early warning the Ash Sea Islands received during the massing of our armies at their border. We have later learned that a traitor from Suville leaked the liberation plans to our enemies, prolonging the war and suffering of ASI.

The priests of The Order have said that religion can and will be a great benefit to Tara in the future, and that not having a friendly and somewhat standardized religion will put us at the mercy of our enemies, both current and future, in the times to come.  Though many remain skeptic about what mere words and rantings can actually do, many more will sleep easier knowing that our enemies are not influencing the commoners and turning the masses of peasants against us.

If you do get the chance I highly recommend traveling to Andurus and checking out this new temple for yourself.  Though few Tarans have undergone the trek up to Tarasac, Andurus is much more accessible and allows for all of Tara the chance at religious fulfillment. As of the last time I checked, joining The Order had no monetary cost associated with it, and operated solely on the generosity of its members.
+
Clearly, Sir Damian Bedwyr, Duke of Stoneville can be none other than the traitor in question. HE made ASI suffer and, indeed, the argument can be made that the Falasan War is his fault as well.

If you do happen upon a lone priest wandering our lands toiling away at their duties, I urge you to show them the true hospitality of Tara.  Show them not only that Tara deserves The Order, but that The Order deserves Tara.
+
The Tara Times will seek to confirm this speculation and get back to you.

Indeed. In a fine display of honesty, the most recent edition of the Falasan Newspaper freely admits that it was their ineptitude and foolishness that has caused all this mayhem. Reports are coming in of renegade Tarans moving North to fight in the wars there. The Taran Times has been unable to obtain a comment from the Dictator or any of his Council Members. Expect this reporter to obtain the answers no matter where they lie!!!

Today Jonathan appointed the long time writer of the Tara Times, Jose Delacruz, as the new count of Aigling. We here at the newspaper have full confidence in our fellow journalist and know that the Aigling will prosper under his command. Now only Jagla awaits a lord, and the council will undoubtedly announce one once its stats are up to par.
+
The pressures of war have forced all available staff to the frontlines, abandoning their journalism duties for the greater good. As the tide of war turns our way, we have now found the time to continue our work here at the paper.

We would also like to extend a belated congratulations to Kkan Ayres who also became the newly anointed lord of Andurus. He was appointed to his position a couple weeks ago when Aeryck stepped down to go on holidays.
+
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Another newspaper is about to start printing in Atamara. This time however it will not be based in any one realm but will cover the whole continent. The brainchild of Benny Kimura, the famous journalist from Redspan, the [[Talk:Atamaran Advocate|Atamaran Advocate]] plans to be a fortnightly newspaper that will bring it's readers news on anything Atamarian.
+
The Blight of Atamara is back!

It's staff currently numbers ten journalists (one of them being myself) but it is always looking for new writers especially from realms who are not yet represented. However, potential writers be warned: your articles must be unbiased as this is an intercontinental work. Don't worry though there will be an editorial section for the staff to air their opinions.
+
Sir Damian Bedwyr, now King of Abington, Duke of Stoneville, Marshal of the Praetorian Guard has just created Abington from the ashes. Fury is rising throughout the continent as realm after realm declares war on the abomination. One trusts armies will soon put an end to this embarrassment.

Traitor Identified at Last?

One of the early questions in this war has always been the early warning the Ash Sea Islands received during the massing of our armies at their border. We have later learned that a traitor from Suville leaked the liberation plans to our enemies, prolonging the war and suffering of ASI.

Clearly, Sir Damian Bedwyr, Duke of Stoneville can be none other than the traitor in question. HE made ASI suffer and, indeed, the argument can be made that the Falasan War is his fault as well.

Falasan Inquirer Admits Fault!
September 2nd, 2008

I have just finished reviewing past issues of our brother journalists across the divide and I have come to a stunning article...

Thousands of deaths and countless villages could have been spared had the stubborn Rabbit King shared the views of his reporters.
