Why Doc, I'm mildly peeved! To even think that I wouldn't be honest! You see, dishonesty is so often difficult to keep up... so I'm always honest, I always tell the truth, the half truth, and possibly a few additions to the truth. But at least it's the truth! But seriously, when have I ever lied? Yes, I have OMMITTED, or I have MISLED, but never lied. Yes, many would say it is splitting hairs. Or you could be more like me, and simply be truthful. There is little wrong with omition if it doesn't distort the truth...telling more than the truth is nonsense and results in many enemies that call your bluff. I was very surprised you were somewhat honest with your accessment of Avamar's points, but I did not say your report was absolutely honest. There are things in your report that are total bull, but those are minor details...the devil is always in the details I guess? However, the fact that I pointed out your sense of honesty is simply a paradox of your persona. You always delved in that which was very dishonest and then you turn-around and speak somewhat honestly about a particular part of your life that is filled with evil---for lack of a better word. You are an interesting man (Hireshmont) that should try and approach things with less apprehension, continue with the shameless candor, and pursue an honest path with brevity as your sword. Doc, out of curiosity, what parts of my report were total bull? Firstly, they may have been rude, sarcastic, crass, and insulting, but true. Secondly, it is possible that I know/knew things you do/did not. Then again, you surely know things I do not. Such is the nature of life. Does establishing the most comprehensive and complete code of laws in the world qualify as an honest path? Or, hey, what about being the general of a realm fighting against a realm which butchered 15,000 of its citizens, kidnapped and almost raped its queen, and repeatedly violated treaties? Anything is possible, I guess, but such matters are like a card game I play...we call it Poker, Elven Holdem (ooc: texas holdem hehe), where everything is about odds of knowing things, or not. I know some of your report is inaccurate, but do you really want me to point it out? Not really. The details are of minor importance, which is why I didn't list them--but it is in the details, the minor nuances, that someone has the "upper hand" if you get my drift. As for your question concerning a General defending his people against something that--if true--strange, then your answer is yes. A realm that violates agreements at a whim does not desrerve to wield power and influence...now if even after that said realm loses BOTH, the realm continues to be problematic, such realm has no merit to existamong the "civilized" nations. Wouldn't you agree? Everyone knows what is right and proper, but the sheer fact you are asking me for advice on that matter, probably means your own version of the truth is full of holes...but I will not fill them...for you see, when you say "It is right for me to do this because" and stick to it...and others agree with it...well then, hell, I think you are on the right path...remember, you achieve so much more if you are loved AND respected by enemies and allies alike...rather than if you are loathed and feared. At least that is out of my personal experience...worked for me, so I figure it'd work for anyone, if they simply stick to it in the good times--and the bad--and don't sell out for petty short-term gains.
