Publishing Dates

It would be nice for the release issues if the date that issue was first released is included. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to notice if a new issue has been released or not, especially if one is a casual reader. --RubyDragon 05:55, 4 July 2008 (CEST)

The used to be released every Sunday, but... I have this strange feeling I'm back to doing all the issues myself again. I'll add em up. --Kag 17:59, 4 July 2008 (CEST)

Region Link Template

When linking regions, please use the region link template: Template:Reglink. This template simplifies linkage. It will also allow us to switch over to linking directly to the IG region pages when Tom makes the changes that allow us to directly link to them. --Indirik 22:18, 27 February 2008 (CET)

Awh, you're just making this more complicated. Since you're here though, mind telling me if you can find out why the right column template title isn't working on issue 3? As for Reglinking, I'll get around to it. The latest issue doesn't go "public" for another few days. --Kag 22:43, 27 February 2008 (CET)
Actually, once you get the hang of using it, it's much easier. You only have to type the region name once, and there's much less chance of typos. As for the news templates, I've never used the pre-made templates for news. I always make my own templates for newspapers. --Indirik 23:24, 27 February 2008 (CET)
You'd just put a pipe ( | ) in slightly the wrong place. It literally just needed moving a couple of spaces to the right. --Revan 23:35, 27 February 2008 (CET)
Now I feel kinda stupid, but thanks! I probably would've noticed that after about an hour of staring at the page later, I'm sure.. On a side note, Indirik, all issues 3+ will be reglinked. --Kag 01:19, 28 February 2008 (CET)
Heh, don't worry about it. The only reason I noticed it is because I've made the same mistake enough times myself. It always tends to be the little things. --Revan 01:40, 28 February 2008 (CET)

Appreciation

I must say I never appreciated a newspaper until I find myself an adventurer in a strange realm. So, thank you for putting things up here, and I even urge you to put every time more! ;) You can also hire Nina as paper delivery girl, I bet she'd appreciate it. :) Anything to keep you bringing us news! -- Bluelake 05:03, 29 February 2008 (CET)

Well, the Poryatown Press guild house is soon to open, thanks to much looting of Outer Giask which provided Zanaras with more than enough gold (he practically requires a caravan to carry all 800 coins worth!!!). While Adventurers won't be allowed to be official members (it being a serious medieval atmosphere n all), but I see no reason why they couldn't be aspirants. They wouldn't officially be "mixing" with one another then so there shouldn't be a problem. Anyways, it's good to know that the paper has readers, makes it all seem worthwhile. Thanks. --Kag 18:00, 29 February 2008 (CET)
Oi, now I'm here to criticize your Issue 18. :) Though I cannot do so IC, I hope *someone* does, because... how can a paper call itself serious when it's publishing bed-side stories as certain truth? Questioning people about the existance of Haktoo is almost alright, but giving him titles and a name to the Netherworld is basically picking rumours from the peasantry's mouth and putting it on pen and paper, making them real. Speculating that monsters seem to have a leadership because of how they act is a bit sensationalist but pretty good rp, now relating them with a name your scribe might have mentioned but you don't even know what it means, or what kind of creature it might be naming, or where that creature lives... Not nice :) What you could do is get some information from the Nightmarch page by Lina Unti, her journal, and try to put a few things together, but even there it isn't certain what is the realm's name, or its origin, if it's evil or not, if it controls the monsters a whole continent away or not. :) Heh, enough rambling :) I really liked the monster compendium and will give my addition to it as soon as I have the time. - Ta|i 17:16, 10 July 2008 (CEST)
"The Poryatown Press does not vouch for the sanity of any "Guest Writers", nor do we vouch for the validity of any articles they sends us which we include. We at the Press like to maintain the connection we have with our readers, and it is because of this that we publish the articles that are sent to us." There's an official reply for yeh. Hahahah... On another note, Haktoo is talked about in Issue 19, which isn't out until this Sunday. Perhaps you missed the big yellowish box at the top of the page? --Kag 19:20, 10 July 2008 (CEST)
Nope, that's why I came here OOC :) I mistook the article paper's number, but... well, I was just trying to help making of the Lurian Weekly a better paper, gameplay-wise. :) It's still my largest source of in-character information for Nina, and she's fond of it. :) - Ta|i 16:35, 14 July 2008 (CEST)
