"Dekion remembered his shield, then his squire forgot to pack his food."

But you also said Dekion is a good cook and enjoyed a scrumptious meal, they contradict eachother! Shaddowolf oly won the contest if he was the only one who camped out and you already said there were 2. Thalanteus had to give up so he didnt slay the monster. Sam isnt talked about at all and doesnt have any contradictions as a result. I vote Sam. I was also the unknown from earlier, who posted the second comment on the last issues discussion. --Alex 28 April 2006 04:45 (CEST)

If Dekion won, then he remembered his shield. If he remembered his shield, then he has no food. If he has no food, then he did not cook that night. We are told that Dekion cooked that night, therefore, he had food, he remembered his shield, and he did not win.

We are told Dekion camped that night in the forest too. Therefore, Shadowwolf was not the only knight who camped out. So Shadowwolf is not the winner either.

Thalanteus captured a mouse, therefore he did not concentrate on the largest monsters, so he did not win the contest either.

The winner is Sam. --Gloria

Well, Thalanteus did not spend the night in the woods as Dekion and Shadowwolf had, meaning Dekion cooked and did not bring his shield and shadowwolf was not alone, therefore eliminating both of them. Thalanteus may not have caught the mouse in the woods, but neither was he there overnight and he is also eliminated.

Your winner by unanimous decision: Sam! As there is nothing at all said regarding him. Atreus(Kenneth Hesse) 10:14 pm April 28th 2006
