Is it worth adding the templates that are at Government System here, or a variant thereof, with the names that each position is in each kind of system? I'll throw up an example page later. DorianGray 28 July 2005 09:27 (CEST)

All done. User:DorianGray/Government_Position. DorianGray 28 July 2005 09:44 (CEST)
Yes, I think it's worth it. Though maybe it should be smaller (smaller font, less padding, etc.) and the intro text should explain that the same titles carry different names. --Tom 28 July 2005 14:45 (CEST)

Adding Marshals

I was about to add a bit about the Marshal position, but then I read the part about "...every realm in BattleMaster is ruled by a four-member government. These various positions and their responsibilities are described below." and I was hesitant to add something that wasn't part of the 4-member Council. Here's a copy of what I propose should be added (between General and Banker):

Marshal

Marshals are appointed by Dukes from his/her Knights to orginize the defense of the Duchy. The Marshal acts as both an agent of the Duke and an agent of the General. Depending on the realm structure, a Marshal may be a mini-General inside their Duchy or they may be little more then a replacement for the since abolished BattleGroup Leader.

Marshal's have the ability to take command of any battle, (their Leadership skill is taken into account) and place troops into a Formation that was selected before the battle. This ability gives Marshals great power, and as such, should be selected wisely.

This position is part of the new Duchy code. Not all features have been introduced yet.

I can add this to the page, provided that no one has any complaints.~ Marc J. December 24, 2005 20:37 (CET)

Requirements

I see that I am not eligeable, for lack of honour and prestige, to be elected for positions in goverment. What are the requirements? -Chénier 02:28, 9 November 2006 (CET)
