How to dispose of a Duel

Someone had accidentally challenged me to a duel when they had intended to challenge someone else. Now, I don't have any particular desire to challenge someone else, but I don't even know who that was that challenged me. Shouldn't I be able find that information? Is there anything you can do to rid yourself of a nuisance challenge? I mean, someone could challenge you and run away to stop you from dueling anyone else.
