The laws of Taith Aenil

as written by Haruspex Maximus Yemmster on the 30th day, reviewed by Haruspex Maximus Orphen on the 227th day, and edited by Haruspex Maximus Xarnelf on the 507th day after the rise of the Arcangela. Violation of these laws will be punished on first offence by a fine decided by the Inner Sanctum, followed on the second offence by excommunication from the realm, the church, and the paradise that awaits you. Should other punishments be specified below, these come prior to those announced above.

§1 Should a member of the realm be found guilty of treason, said person will be punished with immediate excommunication.

§2 All religions whose beliefs are considered false or heretical are forbidden to practice their doctrines in public areas.

§3 Each troop leader is to, after his or her own ability, follow the orders of his or her superior.

§4 Breaking the chain of command is considered equivalent to disobeying a direct order.

§5 If a troop leader should, without direct orders from a superior, engage in the looting of a region, whether or not the realm plans to take it over, said person will be deemed a war criminal to be punished with the full extent of the law.

§6 Should a person withdraw from the rest of the realm by not replying to orders, requests, or other terms of address, (yet still follow the orders and requests) that person shall be considered a burden to the realm. Consequently, he or she will be placed on trial before the Inner Sanctum.

§7 While questioning the actions of fellow nobles and superiors is the duty of any noble, consistent, deliberate, and direct obscenities and accusations, whether in private or public, are strictly forbidden and unbefitting of any noble; such words should be reported promptly to the Inner Sanctum. Anyone found guilty of this offence will be put on trial before said council. Respect must also be shown to the memory of those who have served the realm in the past in positions of authority, wherever they may be now.

Important Out-Of-Character Notes:

Since this is an island on which roleplay is compulsory, anyone who does not roleplay will, by any means necessary, be evicted from this island. If anyone fails to contribute any roleplays after repeated reminding, he or she will very likely be reported to the Titans.

Remember also that we are players of BattleMaster first and characters second. Do not hate someone OOC due to RP, and do not bring OOC matters into RP. If you, OOC, have an issue with something IC, then please say so at once to get it sorted out.

If any troop leader has any ideas, questions, or appeals regarding these laws, they may message the Inner Sanctum or the Haruspex Maximus directly.
