Description
Sir Temple (Sirion Temple) is a Stronghold region located in the north central area of the East Island. The area is hilly and lightly wooded with many sparkling streams and waterfalls. Its the source of the Sirion River. Sir Temple has long been associated with Nohl, the Sun God, and is named Anarionath (Place of the Sun) in Elvish.
History
The earliest records of Sirion show that the region was first called Sirion Castle, seat of the duchy of Sirion Castle, and first capital of the great Sirion Republic.
During the Elven Year 6295, The Great Calamity / Great Eruption fell upon the East Continent. For many days, the skies remained dark, and the air filled with acrid smoke and dust.
