History of Ancient Beluaterra

our story takes place in a time when great harvest and Prosperity ruled the Great Continent of Beluaterra. Lords drank wine with their workers and Knights sparred with Peasants. it was a time of peace and celebration that could be swayed by no Warlord or politician. In their time of Celebration the people of Beluaterra would make a terrible mistake. an Army was being created, for it was time for the Lords of Hell to break from their prison and conquer the world in the name of Chaos once more.
When the Titans learned of this they sent a signs of this oncoming horde to Beluaterra in a hope that they could save the people from This Damned army, but it was of no use. the Clerics ignored the signs and the Prophets were shunned for no evil could bring war to the prosperous island. They were wrong.........

Coming of the Hordes

Atlast it was time for the gates to be reopened and to see chaos spill forth onto the world once more. First came the Demonic hordes of Meltro, Greater Demon of Ch'ørtinst, Chosen by The Three to Lead the Attack on Beluaterra. in the for a week his forces sprewed from the Gates destroying everything in their path. no living thing was left alive. as Meltro Ravaged every living thing in sight Baal took this oppurtunity to deal a heavy blow to the realm of man. taking up his Cursed Staff Jer'eldøm he summoned up a cloud of Disease that rained death upon the People of Beluaterra. those not killed by the rains were then infected by a whole manner of diseases killing quik in a night or in slow and painful weeks.
another month passed and horde after horde ran through the Gates of Hell. crazed with bloodlust the demons spilled onto the cities in hunger and left no livng thing untouched. As the God's pressence was certain thoasands of people started to change their colors to those of the gods.

Arken, Blade of Light

in the first weeks of war it looked certain the Hordes of Chaos would have their soon enough, but by luck or possibly by an intrusion from the Titans a Young Knight by the Name of Lady Abricio and a traveling group of Mercenaries stumbled upon the ancient blade Arken. Although unsure she kept the Blade and journeyed to a Mountain Fortress were the remaining armies of men in the North West were rallying to fight the oncoming hordes. upon her arrival she wasted no time to sign up with the Army and do her part in this War
a week after her arrival Lady Abricio was instructed to journey to a Temple of Thor and rescue a group of High Clerics trapped by in the Claws of Meltro's Hordes. Leading a group of Twenty Knights they traveled horseback to the small Temple. For twelve days they rode insearch of this temple and soon found themselves gawking at its beuaty, But although their efforts they were to slow for by the time they had gotten all the priests mounted and supplied for the Journey the horde was already upon them. they hid in the nearly Abandoned city known today as Ossmat. rally what people were left she readied them for the attack and fotified the city as best they could. a day they waited and soon the army was upon them. They fought Bravely and held the city for an hour. but when the gates were destroyed the hordes were upon them. fighting in a mass of hellish creatures they killed what they could. The end seemed upon them until Abricio Drew the Blade Arken and was astonished when she routed the army with a blast of Light. Not understanding what she had done she returned to the Fortress with the only people surviving and recounted the story to the court.
