In one of his rare excursions outside of Cagilan, Divine Fury, now known by his real name of Galen Fury, intrepid explorer and adventurer extraordinaire - the bane of monsters and undead everywhere bumped into a mystic sage in Chato who offered him the Shiny Buckler of the Dragonslayer.
"What does it do?" Galen asked as usual.
"What does it do?!" the sage spluttered as usual. "It helps keep you alive when you have a dragon to slay!"
"Are you sure?" Galen persisted. "It's only a buckler, not a proper shield".
"Do you see the buckler then?" "Yes."
"Do you see any dragons around?" "No."
"Well then you have it!" cried the sage triumphantly. "Buckler triumphs over dragon."
"(Ah, right...)"
