Beginnings of the region are not certain. There lived a small community of peasants who hide in the woods. Nobody managed to make any contact with them. Whatever civilization they represented, no signs of it remain.
Ordenstaat
On the third day of spring in the year 1009, Rettlewood was taken over by Ordenstaat. The written history of the region dates back only to this event.
