A war on our borders means we need new Nobles willing to serve. Anybody contemplating the trip to Beluaterra will find a welcoming home in Plergoth.
- Resigning is disgust with the peace agreement, General Predbjorn has stepped down and in his place, Eadric Mennocchio has been elected.
- The war with Mesh is over, before it really got started. Mesh and Plergoth have signed a cease fire, ending hostilities.
- The Mesh invaders have been pushed back, and crushed in Ofengail.
- Capt, after a series of visions has established a temple, of a new faith Omniovoism, in Jaekind. He has been seen since preaching in the wilds of Jaekind and streets of Cresaur
- Sir Corpral, has again left for a tournament, hoping to donate his winnings to the new faith.
- WAR! Within the last few hours the government of Plergoth has recieved confirmation that Mesh has issued a formal declaration of war upon us. Mesh troops have been sighted in Worvobaen, Prevos, and Cwellndell. The aggression that Mesh has shown will not go unpunished. Currenetly we are organizing our forces for a counter-strike and our allies have assured us of their support.
- Chancellor Dargon of Mesh has lowered relations with us to neutral and several military units from Mesh have invaded Plergoth territory. War is upon us.
- Corpral has once again brought home a tourney prize. This time, the tournament was held in Varyamo Nolvo and Corpral was named the jousting champion.
- Recent news coming in from our western borders indicate the Mesh may have their sights set on our lands. Nymatal has been busy using his diplomatic skills to secure alliances in case of an attack. Time will tell if his efforts prove fruitful.
Intoduction
Plergoth is a democratic realm, located in Central Southern Beluaterra .
To the South East is Enweil and to the West, across the river, is Mesh. East is the realm of Avalon, to the North, across the wild mountains, lies the realm of Old Grehk. And finally, to the North West, we share a tiny border with Ashborn
Plergoth currently has 3 cities, 22 other regions and about 25 active Troop Leaders
History
Plergoth was colonised by Enweil out of the devasation left at the end of the first invasion, and grew to be a small realm of the city of Cresaur and the five surrounding regions. During this time the realm was surrounded by four much larger neighbours, and as a consequence was a peacefull realm for this time.
The realm survived the second invasion, and after an extended famine, has grown to reclaim its previous regions from the undead, and claim other regions from realms that did not survive. The realm has grown rapidly and has tripled in size since the invasion.
There are few regions still in the control of the undead, as other realms have grown rapidly.
There are a few Nobles who have been with the realm from soon after it's birth, Nymatal the current ruler, Eadric and Corpral.
Diplomatic Relations
As all the lands of Beluaterra have been reconquered, Plergoth finds itself the victim of a greed realm discontented with the lands they have. Mesh has declared war on us based on the pretence that we are not treating our citizens properly. While Plergoth maintains good relations with its oldest ally and indeed, our mother realm, Enweil, Handkor has refuesed to get involved in our war with Mesh. But not too long ago we had signed a defensive alliance with Old Grehk. And in our time of need many realms have shown their support for us by joining into alliances with us. These realms include Avalon, Sint, Thalmarkin, and Valentia. Vice has dropped from our alliance, completely disregarding our support for their cause, and have taken a neutral stand towards Plergoth. We reamin neutral or at peace with all other realms. Time will tell if some of these other realms will get involved in this war. For their sake, we certainly hope they keep thier nose out of our business.
