Pian en luries is one of the four founding realms of the island of Dwilight.
Near the mountains, near the badlands. Capital on the coast. A white city. Pian is a monarchy realm.

First Ideas
We are currently discussing OOC that we want Pian to be a monarchy with a french touch. A strong king, but equally strong dukes with a constant political power-struggle between those two.
Second Idea
The philisophical city-states along the lines of Italy in the renaissance, a realm of cultural arts and science, with hightly independent dukes. Set up some Doges as dukes, possibly a Grand Prince as ruler since our city leaders wouldn't dream of putting a king above them. Need some learning institutions and some crazy inventors just to finish it off. The people in the Pian en Luries like to have fun and aren't very militaristic and thus on the military side of things would favour guerilla tactics and town militia.

I don't like basing it on an actual historic culture I want it to be "Pian en Luries". Based entirely on itself and original. I say that we should roleplay and let our ideas come together by themselves. Deciding it on it like this won't work since this place is gonna just get more and more people that won't have a clue what we're talking about.
