ICEGATE - Today marks the one thousand, four hundred, fourty sixth consecutive day of Sordnaz's rule in the Barony of Makar. It is a mere fourteen days away from the fourth straight year of the Barony's rule by this formidable man. War after war, year and year, he has lead the viking hordes. All hail Sordnaz!

WINWICH - The combined hordes of the mighty Northern Federation marched on the infidels in Winwich, burning and pillaging everything in their path. It was a mere few days until the region spiraled into chaos and eventually into the hands of Norland after the crushing victory of the Federation against the Ithilian forces. Both sides fought fiercly, but ultimately the might of the Federation crushed the opposition, with two of the most powerful units present until the end. On the side of the Federation, the thirty five man ":W: Berserkers (of Valhalla)" lead by this writer, and the First Ithilian Dragoons lead by Raziel III of Minas Ithil. The might of the Behexed Artillery are known throughout the world, and even despite Minas Ithil's impressive horse-army, ended the battle with a mere two casualties.

After holding the region for a few days, the Federation met forces in Chelteborne and elsewhere, seeking Ithilian gold. Fortunately for the Ithilians, a refit was in order, and the hordes withdrew. The lands of York and Shanandoah, long time strongholds of Minas Ithil, will know the viking armies once more by the end of this war.

I've never seen a man tackle and horse and its rider before and today I saw it happen two dozen times.
Calid Roderick, Knight of Ashmoor
Today we drank deep from the horn of battle. The gods themselves would be proud of the way you fought. Do not shame those that fell by asking questions for which there are no answers. Those that made the march with you today are your brothers, be they from Norland or beyond. Those that did not... ....those that did not march and fight and die with us this day... they are not as lucky as we are. Rest well, at down we finish what we started!
