A region of Virovene, it surrounds Nifelheim. It was the next step of Springdale's northern expansion but was taken by Virovene in the War for Independence (its Lord Sianon Eldrake joined Virovene). It is a townsland full of small towns and villages and makes large amounts of gold from trade with Muspel.
The Laughing Wanderer Meadhall was taken before the rest of the region joined Springdale. For joining the empire so readily, the owners were rewarded with lots of business by various nobles seeking entertainment for their troops. The Boar's Head Tavern also happily joined the empire soon afterward(and before the rest of the region) and have began competition with the Laughing Wanderer Meadhall. These taverns were shut down by Virovene due to their continued loyalty to Springdale.
