This is where you can add new ideas for items for adventurers to gather.

All items should be one of the following:

  • gems
  • animal parts
  • rare materials
  • misc. items

We are not talking magic items here. Yes, you have no idea what this is for right now. Sorry 'bout that, if it bothers you that you'll likely waste lots of ideas simply because they don't fit in, then - just don't waste that time.

Gems

  • generic - diamond, topaz, sapphire, ruby, emerald, opal, pearl
  • opals, more specific - milk opal, bluish opal, greenish opal, fire opal, wood opal, grey opal
  • diamonds, more specific - steel gray, blue, yellow, orange, red, green, pink to purple, brown, black, white (rare)
  • sapphires, more specific - blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange, greenish, star sapphire (rare)
  • Various cuts/qualities of the above:
    • Cut
    • Uncut
    • Brilliantly Cut
    • Flawed
    • Cracked
    • Powdered

Animal Parts

  • Cat's Claw
  • Long green bird feather (or feathers of various colors)
  • Crocodile teeth
  • Lion's teeth
  • Rabbit's foot
  • Big animals' eggs (crocodiles, eagles, ...)

Skins

  • bear hide
  • deer hide
  • monster hide

Meats

  • Lobsters, oysters or fish if on the coast.
  • Deer
  • Boar
  • Ox

=> Question: will hungry peasants offer more for food?

Bones

  • tusks
  • claws
  • skulls
  • lion tooth

Rare Materials

  • silk garment/patch of silk/silk threads
  • high-quality ingots (e.g. gold, silver, iron)
  • artifacts from the cultures that inhabited FEI prior to the great wave of immigration
  • Legendary Weapons
  • Treasure Maps
  • Ancient scrolls, or scraps of notes perhaps
  • Perfumes
  • Large or Perfect Gems - same as any gem, but much rarer, bigger, more valuable etc

Miscellaneous Items

  • Tomes - just plain Tome, Old Tome, Ancient Tome. "An (ancient/old), covered, bound manuscript." Optionally you could try captionizing/paraphrasing the contents, by having a list of many different descriptions like "The text discusses the events of ancient (insert random region name here) and is accompanied by ornamental illuminations" and then randomly selecting from the list.
  • (Gold/silver/bronze/copper/iron/steel/tin) ring
  • Weapons (presumably only undead will drop these)
  • Trinkets: everything uncategorizeable, but valuable nonetheless
    • (some kind of metal) goblet
    • ceremonial obsidian dagger
