Revision as of 00:55, 16 December 2006

This is where you can add new ideas for items for adventurers to gather.

All items should be one of the following:

  • gems
  • animal parts
  • rare materials
  • misc. items

We are not talking magic items here. Yes, you have no idea what this is for right now. Sorry 'bout that, if it bothers you that you'll likely waste lots of ideas simply because they don't fit in, then - just don't waste that time.

Gems

  • Stones
    • Azurite - Opaque, mottled deep blue
    • Agate - Banded, eye, tiger eye, moss
    • Quartz - Blue, smoky, star rose
    • Hematite - Gray-black
    • Lapis Lazuli - Light or dark blue with yellow flecks
    • Malachite - Striated light and dark green
    • Obsidian - Jet black
    • Rhodochrosite - Light pink
    • Topaz - Golden yellow
    • Pearl - White, rose, black
  • Gems
    • Diamond - Steel gray, blue, yellow, orange, red, green, pink to purple, brown, black, white (rare)
    • Sapphire - Blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange, greenish, star sapphire (rare)
    • Ruby - Clear, red, deep crimson red, star
    • Emerald - Brillant green
    • Opal - Milk opal, bluish opal, greenish opal, fire opal, wood opal, grey opal
  • Various cuts/qualities of the above:
    • Cut
    • Uncut
    • Brilliantly Cut
    • Flawed
    • Cracked
    • Powdered

Animal Parts

  • Cat's Claw
  • Long green bird feather (or feathers of various colors)
  • Crocodile teeth
  • Lion's teeth
  • Rabbit's foot
  • Big animals' eggs (crocodiles, eagles, ...)
  • Eye Balls (gross but very valuable for making potions)
  • Hair (valuable for making potions)
  • Nails (.....)
  • Heart, lungs, intestine...
  • Vials of blood
  • Tufts of fur
  • Undead head, hand, etc. <--- great idea, we can use named undead or monster head to get bounty.

Skins

  • bear hide
  • deer hide
  • monster hide
  • dragon hide
  • Yeti Hide

Meats

  • Lobsters, oysters or fish if on the coast. (Maybe there will be a fishing feature for us)
  • Deer
  • Boar
  • Ox
  • Cat
  • Dog
  • Monster
  • Fowl
  • Elephant
  • Rino
  • Yeti
  • Dragon

=> Question: will hungry peasants offer more for food?

Bones

  • tusks
  • claws
  • skulls
  • lion tooth

Rare Materials

  • silk garment/patch of silk/silk threads
  • high-quality ingots (e.g. gold, silver, iron)
  • artifacts from the cultures that inhabited FEI prior to the great wave of immigration
  • Legendary Weapons
  • Treasure Maps
  • Ancient scrolls, or scraps of notes perhaps
  • Perfumes
  • Large or Perfect Gems - same as any gem, but much rarer, bigger, more valuable etc
  • Butter
  • Skeleton Key
  • Dragon Horns
  • Dragon Meat
  • Dragon Claws
  • Dragon Scales/Hide

Miscellaneous Items

  • Tomes - just plain Tome, Old Tome, Ancient Tome. "An (ancient/old), covered, bound manuscript." Optionally you could try captionizing/paraphrasing the contents, by having a list of many different descriptions like "The text discusses the events of ancient (insert random region name here) and is accompanied by ornamental illuminations" and then randomly selecting from the list.
  • (Gold/silver/bronze/copper/iron/steel/tin) ring
  • Weapons (presumably only undead will drop these)
  • Trinkets: everything uncategorizeable, but valuable nonetheless
    • (some kind of metal) goblet
    • ceremonial obsidian dagger
  • Magnifying glass <-----This should increase your chances of finding rarer items, or improve the value of your items
  • Telescope
  • Monacle
  • Leather glove
  • Woolen scarf
  • Banners
  • Map(s)
  • Potion(medicine/poison)
  • pig/chicken/dog/sheep or other small pet/animal
  • lamp
  • Pet of various kind, we can tame a pet for role-play purpose)
  • Belt
  • Cane
  • Various toys
  • Hats, Crowns, and other pieces of headwear.
  • Herbs <-----These would help reduce the amount of time your character is wounded or reduce fatigue (only once).
  • Various types of wood <-----Some woods are more valuable than others, and if you find a rare wood it would be worth selling.
  • Food <-----Fruit, berries, a vegetable or two. These would help reduce fatigue(only once), or could provide a one time food production bonus to a region.
  • Packs <-----Increase the amount of items you can have
