About the Region

Once the border region between Abington and Redspan, it is a rugged mountainous/hilly area. The main specatacle is the peak of Mt. Monagle, from which the region gets it's name from, being the tallest natural structure in all of Abington. The people here primarly work the mine for precious gems, rubies are especially in adbundance. While the vast majority work the mine, there is an logging operation that brings in a decent amount of lumber.

Wildlife is also diverse, bears and deers are plentiful, and the local lord frequently brings dignitaries in for trophy hunting.

With such natural diversity and a colder winter climate, the people here are a hardy bunch.
