Sorsha was one of the first to rise. She gave the King and Queen a nod of her head and walked away to follow Misha. She was led down a long hall and shown to a large bedroom. Looking through the doorway she could now see her bags had already been set by the bed. “Thank you Misha,” she told the servant and for the first time Misha blinked, recognizing her voice. “Lady Sorsha?” Her hand reached out.

“Yes?” Sorsha answered her.

“You have…” she didn’t know what to say and blinked. “I hardly recognized you.” She said simply trying not to insult one of the guests but unable to hide her surprise. “You’ll get used to it,” she told her and folded her arms. Waiting for the servant to leave.

Mathias followed shortly behind wondering if his bags had actually made there way to his room. Following Misha and Sorsha he waited outside of Sorsha room until such time as Misha had finished with Lady Sorsha. The moment the servant walked out Mathias spoke up nearly scaring the life out of the poor woman, "Could you show me to my room?" he said. "Oh My lord, I did not expect you there. but yes follow me it is but the next room down."

Upon passing Sorsha’s door the two eyes met for but a brief second but Mathias could tell she was still upset with him. What did he do to deserve this he wondered still trying to figure out what he did to anger her so. He even brought her bags after she had forgotten them at the ship. He made sure she did not show without her gifts. He did a good thing he thought. then he realized it. While the two were wrestling on the bed for dominance he must have injured her in some way.

Mathias immediately went for his bag once he reached his room. Inside he found some bandages and some ointment he bought off a healer back home. Grabbing this he immediately ran back to Sorsha room and knocking on the now closed door requested entrance. "My Lady, I wish to apologize for my rudeness earlier. Though it may be too late now I have brought some ointment and bandages to help with the pain."

Sorsha had already begun to undo her braid when there was a knock at her door. Upon hearing Mathias’ voice, her eyes darted in his direction and she dropped her hands. She really didn’t have the energy to start with him now. She had tried to appear as composed as she could in the Queen and King’s presence, but being in her room alone she didn’t have to. She thought of telling him to leave, but she knew it wouldn’t be so easy.

She had already begun creating his addiction to her, she had to continue or it would fade. Slipping her mask back on, she walked to the door. Opening it, she stood in the doorway. She glanced down to the ointment and bandages in his hand, “I’m too tired for you,” she told him simply.  She left the door open, obviously allowing him to enter and returned to her bed, to finish undoing her braid.

"Listen I realize that I screwed up. I should not have so thoughtless, and it is that as you said that lead you to leave me in the past." Mathias said his head hung low and eyes to the floor. "I just wish not to make the same mistakes again. I can get carried away, and I realize I took what I did a little too far. Please forgive me."

Sorsha quietly listened to his apology but continued to brush her long hair with methodical strokes. She did not grant him forgiveness as he probably thought she would, yes his apology was honest and heartfelt but she could care less. She was upset that she lost the upper hand over him, not physically but somewhere along the way his enthrallment had dissipated. Perhaps she needed to be harder…

“Have I been too hard on you?” she asked him uncertainly, and her face transformed completely into one of softness. The one he had undoubtedly fallen in love with.

"Oh course not my lady. In fact you have been too kind to me. I did not expect such a welcome as I had in fact not expected you to let me in at all. My Lady my heart belongs to but one person, and I will do whatever I can to get back in your favor. What do you require of me?"

Sorsha slowly turned to look at him. She rose from the bed and approached him. She took the ointment and bandages from his hands and threw them on the bed. “I… know I can be difficult,” she continued with the charade and she could see he was beginning to believe it.

Suddenly her hand grabbed his hair and she pulled his head back hard, the pain of it was visible on his face. “I’m allowing you chances because we’ve just started, but don’t you ever defy me again,” she hissed. “Think of this as a lesson,” she whispered in his ear. “You’ll thank me later.” As the words came out of her mouth, she stopped moving. The only sounds were of her breathing and his. This was exactly what Kaylan had done to her in her nightmare. She tried to, only she couldn’t let go. Was she building his addiction or hers?

"My Lady" Mathias as he stepped away releasing her grip on his hair. "Something has befallen you. You are ill. This has become clear to me with your nightmare and your recent outbursts. You are no longer that person I knew and loved so long ago. Yes there is excitement here, but how long will it last? I don't believe that this can be everlasting. Please my lady," he said then dropping to his knees, "Let me help you with this trial you are going through. I have been through much and experienced many things, made many mistakes. Please let me help you."

'''Roleplay from Lycan Moreira'''

Lycan being of an observative nature had kept watching all the exchanges between Sorsha, Mathias and the King and Queen. It was with surprise that he observed the toy Sorsha had found. He was surprised a man of the stature of Mathias would let himself be treated like that. The Queen was speechless with all the gifts and show of care from her guests and Lycan was speechless at the theatre before him. After their last encounter, he wasn’t sure what to expect from Sorsha anymore. And this wasn’t surely it.

It sadened him to see how different she had become and how cold her demeanor was. He still wouldn’t believe it all and was trying to figure it all out. He decided to keep his thoughts to himself and just go along with everything happening around him. He surely didn’t want to spoil the gathering for their royal hosts by confronting Sorsha or begin another discussion of what had happened to her and between them.

Drinking his wine, nodding and smiling in all the right places he just tried to enjoy his time and not let every thought that ran through his mind ruin anything. His heart however, felt differently. It hurt to see that his friend Sorsha wasn’t there, but he also resented her for how she had treated him. She had hurt him deeply but now that some time had passed the wounds had closed a bit and he could now take step back from it and just observe trying to make some sense of it.

She kept her new personality working quite well and gave him cold looks and smirks but for a brief second, when certain matters were brought up, he could have sworn she was making an effort to keep it all up. He wasn’t sure of anything regarding her anymore and that was the only certainty he had.

They were all shown to their suites and Lycan was the last one shown to his room. He noticed Sorsha was given the room right in front of his and Mathias’ the next one down from hers. Lycan entered his room and closing the door behind him he leaned into it. Both his body and spirit were tired. A few seconds after he heard Mathias knocking on her door and a few words exchanged. He could only overhear something about ointment and bandages and he couldn’t help but worry. Was she hurt? She seemed fine from what he had seen. But then again with all the tight leather she was wearing a wound wouldn’t be noticeable.

The duke seemed eager to please and Sorsha was still cold and indifferent to his efforts. He heard him go inside and the door closing. Lycan stepped away from the door and lay in his bed resting for a bit, waiting for dinner.

As Mathias dropped to his knees Sorsha returned to her senses and looked down at him. “Are you questioning my sanity?” she seethed and slowly crouched before him.

She cocked her head then at his concerned expression, realizing maybe she was going about it all wrong. It was too quick…

Changing the dark look on her face to one of mild sweetness, she finally allowed Mathias one of her smiles. The one she had only reserved for him in the past.

Reaching out, she touched his chest. “I’m sorry,” she apologized and then kneeled in front of him and took his hands. She sat on her feet and lowered her head to look at the ground before her. “I accept your apology, you have done everything I’ve asked. I…” She didn’t have anything else to say. Her face displayed remorse, but the emotion simply wasn’t coming to her.

She then reached up to his face and caressed his cheek. “I’m still the woman you fell in love with,” she told him, “let me prove it to you.” She then raised herself up on her knees and kissed him. It was a tender kiss at first, but then it became deeper, more passionate.

Once the kiss had finished Mathias was once again entranced by the woman and willing to give his own life for hers. He was but a kid in a candy shop, and would do anything to have what he desired most. "My Lady, You need never apologize to me. I now realize that all the times you have left in the past is not because of betrayal or lust of another, but because I did not give you reason to stay. As you have told me so many times in the past. I will do whatever it takes my lady to keep you here with me. However, we all know you are no longer the same person we all once knew and loved. But whosoever you maybe I shall always love you."

Sorsha smiled at his words, pleased by the outcome. “Good,” she purred, slowly tracing his lips only to kiss him again. Holding on to his silk shirt with both hands, together they rose from the ground, lips still locked. When she was done she wiped her kiss from his lips and put her arms around him. “I am in pain,” she finally admitted. “Will you take care of me?” her eyes questioned, inviting him in and she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I don't know if I could stay up a moment longer."

"You are in pain my lady, well let me help you." Mathias then gently picked Sorsha up and set her down on the bed. Then asking were the pain was began to rub the ointment on the spots that were hurting her.

Moments later a servant came knocking at the door saying that Dinner was soon to be served. Mathias then turned to look at Sorsha, "My Lady if you don't think you can walk let me carry you most of the way, but I will not let you seem weak before we enter I shall set you down and you can walk the rest of the way. Would you like that?"

The tender area in her neck felt somewhat better. Dinner was announced and he proposed to carry her there, at first she was so incredibly tempted but rethought the idea. “No,” she said, an edge of coldness returning to her voice.

“That’s very thoughtful of you,” she told him, pleased, “but I will need to appear collected. The more time the better,” she divulged, this time taken aback by the amount of information she gave him. “Let’s return,” she said and opened the door.

When she did, across the hallway from her Lycan stepped out of his room and they both stared at one another. She didn’t say anything and felt Mathias’ presence at her back. Finally she cocked her head and smirked.

“Well well,” she said softly. “You’re looking good,” she complimented with a light laugh and looked to Mathias who stepped beside her.

Mathias looked to Sir Lycan and back to Sorsha then once again back to Lycan and said, "Sir Lycan I believe this to be the second time we have met. How have you been?"

Lycan saw the smirk in her waiting for his reply. He wasn’t looking that great and he knew she was mocking him. Hoping to keep treating him as she did the last time they saw each other. He wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction and instead ignored the sarcastic remark. Still looking into her eyes he said "Yes milady. Thank you very much for noticing.” Turning to Sir Mathias he simply said “I have been doing great. No battles lately and a few ladies have kept me company.” he winked. “Shall we go have dinner?” he suggested.

Sorsha knew the remark had struck a nerve and internally laughed. She could see he was avoiding her at all cost and crossed her arms. Lycan was obviously speaking to Mathias’ benefit and not hers, so she let them talk.

"Yes dinner would be great. Uhhhhh. do you know where the dining hall is? I never really visited the palace that much even during the Mad Queen reign. I don't really know my way around it." Mathias stood scratching his head trying to figure out which way to go.

Lycan kept ignoring Sorsha's gaze and smirk. "Sure, I think I know where it is. Follow me." He started walking, directing them to the dinning room without saying another word to either of them.
