Roleplay from Sorsha McDowell

Sorsha had only just arrived to this new land and already she was getting letters welcoming her, which was good. Had she been in a different state of mind, she may have been overjoyed by this warmth the nobles here had extended, but she was having difficulty finding any joy at the moment.

She had left D’Hara angrily, hurt and grieving. The people she had loved above all, her father, King Cenarious Stormrage, and the Queen, Kisharianda Onyxien, had done something she would never be able to forgive. They had executed, Rathan Himoura, her fiancée and father of her newborn child.

In this new land she would have to start anew, from the bottom. She was no longer powerful, one whose power was only dimmed by the King and Queen, no longer a princess of a thriving realm, Duchess of the richest city, and Marshal of the Elite Army of D’Hara, the King’s personal army. She would work as hard as she needed to prove herself, she had always succeeded in the past, the only problem was that now she was without her heart.

Her long brown hair was braided, reaching down to her waist. Her blue eyes, dotted with hints of violet looked on to the horizon and she wiped the tear off her cheek, giving a long sigh. “Rathan my love…,” she whispered to the wind, “…it will be some time but we will see each other again. I promise.”

Lorlan, master of her household approached her with a stack of new letters. “For you Duchess,” he bowed, and winced at his slip. “No Lorlan… no longer…” she said sadly and he bowed. “Of course milady.”

Sorsha read her new letters and came across one with a familiar name and she sat up straight. “Gods above, the young lady Eleanor has followed me here? What could have possessed her to do such a thing?”

She looked over to her maidservant and watched her cradle her newborn son. “Take care of Altair, I will return shortly.”

She then made her way through the unfamiliar city, looking around, and finally she found the young Knight. Now that she was no longer pregnant, Sorsha had returned to her usual attire. Full bodied, skin tight, black leathers that hugged each curve. It was an unusual manner of dress, and only she had ever worn it, it was her battle armor. And everywhere she had been, people had known her simply by the sight of her, and many had feared because of how intimidating she looked.

“Lady Eleanor,” Sorsha said her name tonelessly, surprising the young woman. “I can’t say I understand why you have followed me here,” she nodded, “but I am grateful for a familiar face.”

Roleplay from Eleanor Orgauth

Eleanor was frankly scared with it all, she didn't know why she did such a thing but yet she was now there...on Beluaterra, reaching the coast of Sint, an unknown continent, an unknown realm an unknown life. Following the route Sorsha had taken, for what purpose? For what sense?

Abandoning her birthplace and a realm she proud of...still something told her to do it, each time she looked to the seas that inner voice grew stronger and stronger. With each wave the urge became more powerful until she was taken over by it and suddenly left D'Hara without saying a word to anyone.

Sorsha could barely be called a friend...they only saw each other once and talked very briefly. She had been busy on each and every occasion Eleanor tried to visit her. Still there was more to that...perhaps it was fate that led her to this foreign land, a daughter of Dwilight stranded on Beluaterra.

She sighed they had arrived on the port, she was alone, she brought no men, no servants, nothing, except for a bag of gold coins and a scribe. She immediately made her way to the closest city of Sint, Firbault. There she looked for a place to stay and sent a letter to the realm hoping for a warm welcome.
