'''Roleplay from Alioth Himoura'''

Alioth gripped his sword in both hands and assumed an offensive posture, glaring across the ring at his tutor. Family business had kept him from honing his skills for too long. This new assignment was a pleasant change of pace, he would finally be able to perfect his art. He knew his style well, but his technique was in dire need of work. Working as an adjudicator for the head of the family kept him busy, moving from place to place, never able to settle and pursue his own goals. He envied his brother for his freedom to pursue what he wished. Alioth still couldn't believe he was gone, and while under his cold and emotionless outer shell, he seethed with rage at the affront, but at the same time was glad for the assignment that came with it. Hopefully the Duchess would make his work easy. He shook his head, and cleared his thoughts, and was about to begin another bout with the instructor when a messenger stepped forward and bowed

"Master Alioth sir, this has come for you." he said, handing Alioth a note. Alioth read it and crumpled it,, placing it in his pocket to burn later.

"Another one here? Ha. The family will owe me big when I've finished here. It seems they've all conveniently gathered for me."

Kisharianda walked to Cenarious' study to have a few words with him before she retired to her own chambers for the night but he was nowhere in sight. She turned down the hall and noticed Maurice who was making his way to the servants quarters.

"Maurice have you seen the King" she said frowning like she lost something

"He is visiting Lady Sorsha and her new born son M'lady" he nodded respectfully.

"Newborn? Sorsha has a son" she replied confused. "Yes M'lady, the King ordered to have her brought here after she collapsed at the execution, her healers had brought her back to the Inn she was staying in by her request but the King wanted to make sure she was cared for so he had her moved here. Kisharianda shook her head even more confused and nodded at Maurice "That'll be all, thank you" she stood in the hall both hands on her side in thought. "A newborn" she whispered to herself "She was pregnant?"

Halfway down the hall she noticed Cenarious closing Sorsha's door behind him, he stood at the door for a few moments before he realized Kisharianda was there. Concerned by the news she had just received she walked up to Cenarious and grabbed his hands.

"Is she okay?" she asked and Cenarious nodded "She is fine" he paused "and so is her son" when he looked up at her she noticed something different in his eyes.

"Her son?, how did she get pregnant" she asked and Cenarious' brow rose and he grinned "I know how she got pregnant! I mean when ? who ? and why were we not informed of this? here she is out gallivanting the streets in armor pregnant? Continuing to march out with our armies putting herself at risk including her child?, what is the meaning of all this" Kisharianda was so shocked by the news that all the questions she was asking were coming out so quickly that Cenarious didn't even have the chance to respond to any of them and he took her arms and looked at her.

"Kish" he said to get her attention and a moment of silence "There is much we must discuss" he put his arm around her and began to walk with her telling her all he knew"

After Cenarious informed her of the situation she took a deep breath and closed her eyes "That's Rathan's son" she looked at Cenarious and took his hands in hers. "She blames you for this doesn't she?" and Cenarious nodded

"I need to speak with her" she kissed him softly "I will be up shortly" she began to make her way to the room and stood at the door for a few moments before knocking and entering.

"Leave us" she said to the nursemaid "We need a moments privacy" she left the door opened for the nursemaid to leave and watched her close the door behind her.

"Congratulations on your newborn son, Sorsha" she said with a smile as she looked at her cradle her son in her arms.

"Are you well enough to talk for a moment" she asked waiting.

'''Roleplay from Sorsha McDowell'''

After the King left, Sorsha sat quietly in her room, occasionally wiping a stray tear that trailed down her cheek. Altair cooed and she brushed a loving hand over his soft skin. “We will be home soon,” she whispered, but almost immediately her attention was taken away again as her eyes went out of focus and the last few days replayed in her mind, haunting her.

It was a while and Kisharianda entered her room and had the nursemaid leave. Sorsha didn’t even have the strength to look the Queen in the eyes instead she looked away to the window once more. “I am well enough,” she told her.

Kisharianda walked to the bed where Sorsha laid with her new son, she couldn't help but peek inside the bundle Sorsha was holding protectively.

"He has your lips" she looked at Sorsha who was still looking out the window. She sat and looked at her and took a deep breath. She knew Sorsha was being cold and distant she had spent too much time with her to know when Sorsha was being indifferent to her surroundings. Kisharianda was well aware of the anger that boiled inside her and how delicate the situation was but she was going to tell her what she thought no matter how much it would hurt to hear it.

"Sorsha, why did you not inform us that you were still in contact with Rathan?, why would you go all these months without even telling us that you were pregnant, not only did you put yourself in danger but you put the life of your unborn child in danger" she sat looking at her eyes frowned furious at her latest actions. Sorsha just looked at her but before she could answer Kisharianda stood up and walked to the window.

"The King tells me that because he didn't reply to one of your distant letters you took it upon yourself to think that you had fell from his grace, you of all people Sorsha know that is impossible. The King put you above all the rest in this realm, he has always given you what your heart desired, even when you left and came back he still put you above all, making you Marshal of his personal army, placing you in Port Nebel when your ex husband was placed in Paisly, that alone should tell you how much fate and trust the King places in you and because he didn't reply to one letter which was a letter he remembers well informing him of your suspicions you drop this guilt on him that he has taken away from you." Kisharianda started to pace the room and her hands began to shake from the anger that was building inside her. She had always been in control of her emotions but right now she could barely contain herself but she did out of respect of Sorsha haven't just given birth. She licked her lips and turned to Sorsha

"Apparently by the look of things you have been secretly seeing Rathan, not that your choice in your men are any of our business, but when it concerns the safety of the realm and our family it is. You deliberately went behind all of our backs to seek the very same man who swore to come back and bring chaos to our lands and bedded him and bore his son." she shook her head

"Why?" she waited with tears filling her eyes and turned back to the window "Why would you lie about something this important, why would you hide that you were to be wed and pregnant? you obviously had made your choice when you ran to his arms why would you put my family at risk by remaining silent?" her lips started to quiver from the deceit she was facing "we have always given you everything you asked for, and you have never been one to hold your tongue why would you now?" she looked at her again waiting.

'''Roleplay from Sorsha McDowell'''

Sorsha listened to each and every word the Queen told her, no matter what occurred in her life, she knew at that moment she would always love her but right now she was so hurt, let down. Hurt that someone had been taken away from her, and that hurt and anger at what happened wouldn’t pass over ONE day’s time.

“I lied because of the reaction you are having now,” Sorsha started unemotionally. For a long time now she had been this way, when faced with this type of situation she hid her emotions. She was straightforward, and that wasn’t new, but yes she had kept her silence, she wasn’t about to start advertising the fact she was sleeping with the enemy.

“I knew… I knew I would be forbidden from seeing him. Kisharianda I loved him, I loved him long before his betrayal to D’Hara, I didn’t do it to spite you, or the King. I did not want to put anyone in danger. I never would have.  When he asked me to help him, I told him no, I would never give out information on D’Hara for no reason, not for one man, no matter the love I had for him. I would have died to protect those you care about, those I care about. Do you think I am blind to this? I helped build D’Hara from what Katayanna left behind, with you. I gave my blood, my heart and soul to it all, you are not alone. I care for it as much as you do, if not more. Had it been Cenarious, you would have sacrificed just as much. You once told me, and explained to me how you felt when you first met Cenarious, well I have known the feeling exactly as you portrayed it for me, how could I turn my back from that? You wouldn’t have.”

Sorsha was crying and her voice had risen despite her effort to keep calm. “I made a mistake, I’m sorry!” she yelled at her. “Is that what you want from me? To beg and grovel for listening to my heart for once? To have a small moment of happiness? I am not sorry for that, but I am sorry I disappointed you and the King, I am not perfect!”

Sorsha didn’t even wait for Kisharianda to answer her, she was too hurt, too angry. “You know what… there isn’t enough room here for me any longer. Good luck with your life, and your kingdom. I shall think of you every moment of mine.”

With that Sorsha took her baby, and left the room. Some time later, she returned to Port Nebel, she had all her servants prepare her belongings, she took one last look at her home and her servants.

“I have loved this place more than anyone could ever imagine… It will stay with me every moment and every second of my life for as long as I live. I am only sorry that I leave it now, but perhaps they will be better off without me. I have done nothing but hurt the ones around me.”

She cradled her child and looked down with glistening eyes. “You shall know a wonderful future, I promise you.”

Leaving her home, all her belongings were set on her ship. One Hexic had given her, the Guardian, and it set sail. “Where should we set sail for my lady?” the captain asked and she sighed. “Beluaterra, I believe this is where my brother was last seen.”

She looked across the edge and sighed sadly. “Goodbye D’Hara,” she cried and went below deck to her cabin, to cry the entire trip through
