Longmane Family/Tor

Separated from his family in the flight from Elchorn on the Morning of Tears, Tor was found hiding and near death many days later in a nearby wood by the men of Olaf Haldin, prince of Rhunen, and whom had set sail in search of survivors immediately on hearing word of the terrible outrage against his distant kinfolk. Being brought back to Rhunen while Olaf sought for news of his family the young boy almost at once fell in love with both it and the ways of it's people, and though his family was eventually found in the Region of Arrmol and himself subsequently being reunited with them he nevertheless always held a longing for it in his heart, and so immediately on his coming of age returned to serve Olaf faithfully and loyally for many years until going to the aid of his young nephew in the bitter war then raging in the east.
