Towards the end of the Federate war, Kiderix won elections uncontested for the lordship of [Region:Aeng], gaining his first lord status as Representative of Aeng. Really proud of this accomplishment, he proceeded to tend the restoration of the region personally, under the guidance of courtier Behemoth. In doing so, as a struck of luck, Kiderix was not present on the Siege of Semall, which was a disaster for the Perleoni army, basically halving their strength for several days. Kiderix held his ground, protecting his region until the army was rebuilt.

Now far from his former lands and no one to look for him, Kiderix searched for a proper estate in which to serve. His first option was Castle Unbent, at the time under the lordship of Zolan Zatirri. They have already had an argument way back on the siege of Ibladesh, but after a few letters Kiderix was allowed an estate in the region. Kiderix is, so far, the most prominent member of the entire Lion-Head family. Possessing an incredible income even as a simple knight, a wide and increasing contact network with famous and influential nobles from among the East Continent, and a successful military career, taking part in numerous conflicts. The first son of his branch, his twin sister is Bellerix Lion-Head, him being slightly older.

Kiderix is a noble coming from the early years of the Lion-Head family on the path of nobility. Was the second family member to boast a title and reason the family started on the noble path.

Kiderix is a scholar, one of the few who seek knowledge over fame and fortune.
He holds his duties to his Family, and hope to bring them honour and pride.
Their teachings, the values of trust and loyalty to the ones he holds dear, his liege, his subordinates, and his friends.
All are a great part of who he is today.
Currently a knight on the great realm of Perleone, he knows knows what this role means for him.
Although never eager for war, Kiderix will be ready to do whatever is needed for the greatness of his kingdom.

in-game Description

Very interested on matters of occultism, psychology and magic. Has done multiple studies on the area and even some experiments. His first contact with true magic was with a Scroll of Magic Steeds, given to him by Lady Mary Anne de La Fere Bluelake, and used on the Battle of Jariedma, where it failed and shattered, causing for the battle and the region to be lost. Kiderix never forgot that failure.

Loyal to his friends and to his banner, his biggest dream is to have his name, and that of his family, to be present in history books, and so remembered for eternity.

Early Life

Kiderix lived a good life under the care of his parents, on the guild house of the Lion-head clan. Although being descendant of great warriors and hunters, Kiderix never felt any joy in those activities. He spent most of his time on the dusty library of his accessors. There he taught himself a lot more than the basic and lacking education his family could ever provide. Kiderix used to correct his personal teacher a lot, which prompted his parents to ensure a better education for all the kids in the guild.

Kiderix was very reclusive on family reunions, claiming the feast was "Too crowded and noisy". But he cared a lot for his family nonetheless. He found more joy exploring the library than the forests. Learning about the creatures his clan used to hunt, Geography, Math, and other languages. In the meantime, he discovered an increasing interest on fantasy literature and most importantly: Magic. He tried time and time again to imitate the masterful works inside of his books, but from little to no success.

In his late teens, mostly because his family wanted him to start bringing home some gold, Kiderix started to look for a position of scholar. In which he could continue pursuing his desire for knowledge, perhaps even some funded research. He found out about the Al-Arab Academy, a renowned institution thriving with knowledge of the old and new, in a city with a knight state vacated and looking for candidates. Kiderix looked back at the forgotten records of the Lion-Head family tree... and found a slight noble ancestor from his Great Grandmother's branch. That was enough. There was nothing more keeping him from going after his knightship. Well, not quite. His family got excited too, but wouldn't allow for Kiderix to get a noble title before the family's oldest son: Arterix. So, Kiderix got it arranged with the region lord at the time, who settled with hunting mission for Arterix to prove his worth. After then, he sailed far from home, and in ((2018-07-15)) started his noble career.

Knight History

Got his first noble title as Knight of Al-Arab, governing the Tower Temple Complex within Al-Arab, a city region under Lord Conrad Barret, and capital to the kingdom of Perleone.

Perleone was not at the greatest shape at his arrival. Three dying regions, low noble count, divided territory and enemies seemingly everywhere. But settled with a goal to pursue his desires in the good realm who welcomed him. His first moments in his new home were pretty chill: Made good friends with fellow realm-mates, pursued his desires on the academy, and was pretty content with not being in a war. But that would change very soon.

The Federate war

Kiderix is one of the few Perleoni nobles that has been around since the very beginning of the federate war. Participating on all the most important battles. Was in all the lost battles of Al-quabah and Zarw, and fought to the last man on the first Perleone victory. Although being a pacifist at heart, he never backed down from getting his hands dirty and leading his men in the heat of battle.

Kiderix got some respect with his well-written letters and general knowledge. He made very convincing points in the midst of in-realm discussions, his positions were generally well received and his opinions were respected to the point of being quoted in future interactions. Somewhere along the way, Kiderix started developing a very nationalistic pride on Perleone, partly due to the insults and lying schemes of the enemies, partly to the good friends Kiderix made along the way. Even stating on his diary "This is the first time I feel like I truly belong."

That caught the attention of some higher nobility, notably the then Marshal Callan and then Prime Minister Mary Anne. As Kiderix could be trusted and was always present in the battlefield, they entrusted Kiderix with a very important task: hold to a Scroll of Magic Steeds, and be ready to cast it under their command at any time. That was a dream coming true for Kiderix, finally being in the spotlight for something grand, along with getting his hands in a real Magical Scroll. That messed with his head a fair lot, making him foreclose sleeping, internal messaging, everything he could in order to study it's special properties, and maybe even duplicating it. But the time came, with an important battle that would delay the war progress for at least a week, after the Marshals were discussing what to do considering the battle as already lost, Kiderix himself offered to use the scroll and in an attempt to unleash it's power... it failed. It's writings shattered in dust. The battle was lost. Kiderix felt utterly defeated for being unable to fulfil his duty in a key moment like this. He later refers to this moment, "Some wounds may never heal.".

When time had come for himself to head for capital, Aeng was invaded once again by Alaran forces. And as the army was busy with the Semall blockade, which finally had the city of Semall join the Perleone kingdom, there was nothing that could be done about Kiderix's region. Aeng was lost, together with his Lord title.

However, as it was in the process of being transferred back to the realm of Vix due to some loose treaties, Kiderix left to remain as a Perleoni. His second stop was in Woolton, region of Saraph Orneithian. The lord seemed pretty excited by having a knight in his ranks, and gladly offered the Veracra Mansion estate. There, Kiderix was settled for the time being.

The ending of the federate war was marked by the election of a new King, now to be regarded as emperor. Former King Niall, the leader of perleone throughout the entirety of the war, was unfortunately no longer in shape of ruling and so was replaced with King/Emperor Stanmore. The same man that coincidentally won the swordfight tournament held in the city of Semall, as a celebration of the end of the war and the forming of the Perleone Empire. Kiderix, not one known for his fighting skills, still managed to surprisingly win a match in this tournament! He was defeated on the following round.

The Empire

Now in time of peace, the nobles focused on getting their regions in good shape after the numerous conflicts. kiderix managed his estate and helped his lord to the best of his ability. Lord and knight noticed how well they work together, and actually grew quite found of each other. The lord's Visit to Kiderix's Mansion was hearth warming, where they discussed various topics over fine wine. Finally Kiderix found another man that shaded his likeness of literature and level of knowledge of the world.

A few days later, the region Jariedma was up for election, and the scholar figured it was as good an opportunity as any other and applied for the candidacy. His competitor, Elros Edain, was unfortunately found dead from a heath attack during elections((Banned by Titans)). With no one else running, this was an easy win.

He departed to fulfil his new duties, and he found out that a lord's affair is no easy task. But the honour (and gold) received makes it all worth it.
